New Russian Over the Horizon Radar has made these $15 billion B2s as useful as their 60 year old B-52 predecessors. The OHR is a different type of radar as it observes ion displacement, allowing detection of anomalies in the ionosphere. So where you have ion displacement you have the shape, speed and direction of where that anomaly displacement is going. Stealth as in the B2 tech is as obsolete as Enola Gay. Even if an aircraft is hugging land or sea it can be now detected, There is no escaping OHR

Are you confusing the now-30-year-old B-2 with the ‘new’ B-21 first due out in 2021 (so, 2024… maybe), Icarus?
Both versions lack much ‘stealth’ today for the reasons Redadmiral stated, but they were both really intended to destroy defenseless third-world shitholes that have a leader the US does not like. The US Congress won’t vote for that kind of bomber because it makes us sound like unhinged, psychopathic bullies. Using the ‘strategic nuclear deterrent’ mission (however improbable or fantastical) makes it sound way more important to US taxpayers Besides, a B-21 will always be handy for protecting the US government from angry, disobedient US taxpayers. They want misbehaving US citizens to SEE that bitch before they’re vaporized. It will be a lesson to others.

I agree about all what you say, but in military terms 30 years means brand new, with first official flights in January 1996.
I would have to agree too, considering Tu-95 and B-52 have been in service about 67 years now and are probably good for 20 more years.
Even a S-300 can take out the US flying junk, not to mention the S-500 Prometheus that is being deployed.
This flying junk should make a good target drone for the S-400, not to mention the super state of the art S-500 Prometheus. These US flying junk are like their antiquated Abrams tank is to the Russian Kornet ATGM.
What no one knows is that this US Strategic super modern future technology heavy bomber with laser precision, not only is stealth but stealth invisible because of a rare metal coating mix. Keep it up boys.
