The Ukrainian air defense forces had a bad day.
At about midnight, Russian strike destroyed Ukrainian S-300 air defense system deployed near the village of Rusin Yar in the Kramatorsk region in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The attack was coordinated by Russian reconnaissance UAV, and footage allowed to confirm the inflicted damage.
The footage confirmed the destruction of the S-300 launcher by the precision strike. The explosive wave and shrapnel also damaged the second launcher and the command post with the radar, as well the technical support vehicle. According to the reports from the front, sever Ukrainian servicemen were killed as a result of the strike. They included the commander of the anti-aircraft battery and a gunner operator.
The destruction of the Ukrainian S-300PS system was confirmed in the daily briefing by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
In a few hours, Russian military sources shared the footage of destruction of Ukrainian Buk M-1 air defense system. The system was reportedly destroyed near the village of Khoten in the Sumy region, about 26 kilometers from the Russian border.
The attack was again filmed by Russian reconnaissance UAV:
Russian drone spotted Ukrainian servicemen and military equipment hidden in an agricultural hangar. The Buk M-1 launcher, the fuel tanker and more than 7 servicemen of the Ukrainian army are seen in the area.
The facility was immediately shelled with 152 mm high-precision Krasnopol ammunition. As a result of the shelling, a large explosion of the air defense system led to the subsequent detonation of ammunition. As a result, the military personnel and equipment of the AFU were destroyed. Two Ukrainian policemen who were near the location of the AFU unit were also reportedly eliminated by the strike.
The Russian Ministry of Defense is likely to report on the destruction of the Buk M-1 system in its daily briefing on February 29.
In total, the Russian military reported the destruction of 475 anti-aircraft missile systems since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, including Soviet and foreign systems.
The number of Russian successful strikes on Ukrainian air defense forces in the rear areas has grown recently. The destruction of the enemy’s air defense systems is of great strategic importance, as it allows the air force maneuver freely, strike at the key targets and control the airspace. The Ukrainian military leadership recognizes its inability to restore its air defense capabilities due to the constant Russian precision strikes and due to the fact that Ukraine does not produce its own air defense missiles and is completely dependent on the West for their supplies. Ukraine also cannot repair the foreign systems on its territory that’s why a lot of damaged systems are coming back home to Europe and the US for repair, which takes a lot of time and money.
which means that nazis are becoming more defenseless day by day
every day’s a bad day for ukraine.
glory to russia, death to banderastan!!!
the wasteful policies of nato, and as instructed by an increasingly irrelevant usadmin. parasites such as newland woke the russian bear and now they have nothing to feed it as the ugly us boiler ate all the cookies.
with the us now paying almost 1 trillion dollars a month in interest on its debt to their parasite class, there probably won’t be anymore cookies coming soon. hey ho. at least the us parasite class gets to turn what’s left of ukraine farmland into its gmo garden. if you can’t beat them, poison them eh?
that’s a year, not a month.
nudelman parasites went to work on ukraine’s gut and now it’s all chewed out.
