Bahrain deports a number of Lebanese nationals for supporting Hezbollah

According to a statement of the Bahraini interior ministry, the country has announced deportation of several Lebanese citizens in connection of supporting Hezbollah.

“A number of Lebanese residents have been deported after it was confirmed that they belonged to and supported terrorist Hezbollah,” the statement said on Monday.

Three days ago Arab league declared Hezbollah a terrorist group in a meeting of the Egyptian capital Cairo, though Lebanon and Iraq refused the declaration.

On March 2, the Persian Gulf Cooperation council of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates issued a similar statement in which they branded Hezbollah a terrorist organization.

On the other hand, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has said the Saudi regime wants to provoke more divisions between Shia and Sunni Muslims in the Middle East.

However, when Hezbollah fighters have been fighting terrorist with the side of Syrian Arab Army and wining, Saudi reaction has been becoming hostile and reckless against the group. Recently, Saudi cancelled an aid pledge of 4 billion USD for Lebanon’s security forces.
