A Syrian journalist, Wsssim Issa, released a big photo set depicting the battle for Jobar, a neighborhood in eastern Damascus. The photos were taken yesterday when the Syrian army reversed all militant gains in the area.
Earlier this month, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, Jaish al-Islam and other “moderate opposition” groups launched a wide-scale offensive in the area in order to link up the militant-held areas in Qaboun and in Eastern Ghouta.
Shall god support them and protect them with every step they take.

Well, if you know that, as a government soldier, you will get tortured, executed, beheaded etc. when captured by the savage and ruthless enemy; while your own side allows the enemy (AND THEIR FOREIGN “ADVISORS”) to leave safely with their weapons when they have them surrounded, mostly lets captured jihadi fighters go with little more than a slap on the wrist as a result of “amnesties”, “reconciliation agreements” and so on, and refrains from saturation bombing of areas with high concentration of enemy troops because the Western MSM would get mad at them – that DOES tend to hamper your enthusiasm as a young man to fight for “your” side, I guess…
