A Syrian journalist, Wsssim Issa, released a big photo set depicting the battle for Jobar, a neighborhood in eastern Damascus. The photos were taken yesterday when the Syrian army reversed all militant gains in the area.
Earlier this month, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, Jaish al-Islam and other “moderate opposition” groups launched a wide-scale offensive in the area in order to link up the militant-held areas in Qaboun and in Eastern Ghouta.
