The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are developing their offensive in the Kurakhovo advancing in the city and around it. The newly shared footage confirmed battles in the center of the city.
The Russian military completed the mop up operations along the main lines of Ukrainian defense in the eastern part of Kuralhovo. Russian control of the northern bank of the water reservoir allowed to cross it and launch assault on the territory of the elevator in the northern part of the city. As a result of several days of heavy battles, the elevator came under Russian control.

According to reports from the battlefield, Russian forces are advancing from several directions. In the north, Russian assault groups advanced along the Zaporozhsky Avenue from the elevator to the west. They cut off the road leading to the bridge across the reservoir and gained a foothold near the northern beaches. Clashes are ongoing in the local warehouses and in the area of the market. As a result of their advance, Russian forces gained fire control of the roads leading to Kurakhovo from the west.
Another important Russian victory is the control of the fuel depot located south of the elevator across the Zaporozhsky Avenue. The both industrial facilities became Russian strongholds that support the further advance, including to the south. A large part of the private houses in the central part of the city came under Russian control, including along the Michurina, Chumatska and Berezova streets. Clashes re reportedly ongoing in the area of the local school #5.
Advancing along Pobedy and Mira streets, Russian forces gained a foothold near the apartment buildings. On November 25th, Russian military sources published video of Russian soldiers storming apartment buildings reportedly located near the intersection of Pobedy Street and Prokofiev Avenue.
Ukrainian defense is crushing. As always, Ukrainian soldiers hope to hold defense in multistorey buildings in the center and south of the city. They equip their firing positions there to slow down Russian advance. Battles are also ongoing in the southern Yuzhny district but Russian advance from the north threatens the Ukrainian garrison there with encirclement. Another important Ukrainian stronghold is the Kurakhovska TPP located on the northwestern outskirts.
The Russian Aerospace Forces are pounding Ukrainian positions in Kurakhovo, leaving the Armed Forces of Ukraine no place to hide, while the Russian army is surrounding the entire city advancing on the northern and southern flanks.
