Clashes for Bakhmut have moved to the western edge of the town.
As of May 7, Russian forces have been finalizing the elimination of the remaining units of the Kyiv regime in the so-called ‘Gnezdo’ area around Chaikovskogo street. When this area is cleared, Russian forces will be able to reach Yubileinaya street from this direction and the only positions that pro-Kyiv forces would have in the town are those close to the village of Khromovo.
At the same time, Russian artillery continue to pound Ukrainian troops and equipment that try to move into the Bakhmut sector through the town of Ivanovskoe.
Fighting also continue between the Russian military and Kyiv’s forces in the areas of Avdeevka and Ugledar. However, no notable changes of the situation have been reported there.
On May 7, the Russian Defense Ministry published a fresh “Report by Press Centre Chief of Yug Group of Forces”:
Aviation of the Yug Group of Forces has destroyed an assembly area of the 81st Motorised Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Grigorovka and Serebryanka. In the same settlements of Lisichansk area, a Krab self-propelled artillery system and 120mm mortar of the AFU were destroyed during the counter-battery warfare.
In Soledar–Bakhmut direction, a missile unit of the Yug Group of Forces engaged one ammunition depot of the 54th Separate Mechanised Brigade and a temporary deployment area of the battalion of the 57th Separate Mechanised Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
An artillery crews of the Yug Group of Forces eliminated one 120mm mortar and up to 10 Ukrainian troops in Avdeevka.
In co-operation with special forces units, a tank crew of the Yug Group destroyed an ammunition depot and a group of enemy infantry near Belogorovka.
It should be noted that recently over ten Ukrainian drones were launched to strike the Russian Republic of Crimea.
The attack was repelled, according to local authorities and no damage was caused by the UAVs.
US-supplied Bradley vehicles are in Ukraine
In a Telegram message posted on May 7, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev reported that one drone had crashed in a forest and two others were intercepted by air defenses.
“No objects in the city were damaged. All services continue to monitor the situation,” he added.
Earlier, Crimean officials reported that Ukrainian forces had launched at least two ballistic missiles toward Crimea. They were both taken down by air defenses.
The intensification of drone and missile strikes on Crimea as well as other Russian border territories came amid the continued speculations of the Kyiv regime and its foreign sponsors about the upcoming large-scale offensive by Kyiv in the regions of Donetsk and Zaporozhie. Media reports claim that such offensive may start in May.
In any case, it’s obvious that the battle of Bakhmut will become only one of many upcoming battles that would take place before the full collapse of the Western-controlled Kyiv regime on the battleground. Zelensky & Co do not really care about their people. So, they still have a lot of meat to throw into the fire of war.
Why can’t the war stop NOW? That would be to the best for everyone, except the weapons industry. The ethnic Russian population in Donbass has the right to decide for themselves who should govern them. This stands over the Ukrainian territorial integrity.
It could have been stopped before it even began by not interfering in Ukrainian internal affairs in 2014 and the years before. This was terribly reckless in the ethnically and politically divided country. Some western nations have their own interests in this fight and those interests don’t align with those of the Ukrainian people. The US wants to maintain its hegemony. Russia and China empower other states to reject being dominated by the Americans. That’s why Russia was targeted. I don’t think it went according to plan.
The ‘woke’ western politicians have taken their stance, and would rather get hundreds of thousands more people killed than to have to swallow their pride.
The West and Ukraine will not stop of their own choice so Russia waded in to make it into a proper military op instead of just carnage of civillians.
Th ethnic Russian population has chosen Ukraine
Crimea, Donbass, and the rest of the northern coast of the Black Sea has never been Ukrainian. It was Russians who removed most of the Tartars and other muslims from this area.
We all know, this is about an attack on Russia.. So, now our bankers have studied the Russian tactics and logistics.. And have collected and still are, a lot of weapons, amunition and manpower from all over the world.. There will be a NATO-exercise “Air Defender” 11 / 23 june in Germany, with a closed airspace.. And our bankers don’t waste any money. They will attack when the whole Russian military is bribed, blackmailed, killed or depleted from any recources.. As always!!!
Ale to sa nikdy nestane. Rusko má obrovské zdroje a Ruskí vojaci majú bojové tradície. Ruských vojakov zaväzuje boj o Leningrad, tak isto boj o Stalingrad, či boj o Moskvu. Ruskí vojaci boli tí čo boli ako prví v Berlíne. Tieto hrdinské činy zaväzujú synov, vnukov a pravnukov k tomu, aby neurobili hanbu svojim predkom. Takže o porážke Ruských vojsk nemôže byť ani len reči. Toto by si mali hlupáci na západe konečne uvedomiť.
So Artemovsk is history. One by one, City by city, Russians are moving closer to Kiev. Wonder how many Nazies will have left even after next battle for a city, just one city. Are they gonna throw out meats to the grinder again so that what is left of the nazy remnant troops will be gone for good?
Bakhmut is history. Artemovsk is present.
Russian Defense Ministry published a fresh report. And as usual in report word “Wagner” was strictly forbidden. And it was always like that from the start. They try to appropriate fighting of the PMC Wagner and present it to the public as their own merit and success. Whoever doubts my words can easily check older reports…
There is a reason why every important battle in syria and ukraine is handed by putin directly to prigoshin and khadirov and not the the russian military. I would say he either thinks they are incompetent or that to many traitors are in the ranks who would hand any important information about movements and plans directly to the us.
What do you expect them to report or you are simply illiformed about how things are run. Wagner is fighting to the victory of the Russian federation and by extension for the Russian army. So,your divide and conquer tactics wonts stop?

Can we please refer to this place as Artyomovsk? We shouldn’t give the Ukrainians and their masters legitimacy by calling it Bakhmut anymore. All the way Russia🎊🎉🎉🇷🇺
