On August 12, a large fire broke out at a weapons depot run by the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), causing explosions heard across the country’s capital of Baghdad. The weapons depot was located inside a federal police base in the southern suburbs of Baghdad.
According to authorities, at least one person was killed and 29 others were injured.
“An explosion occurred because of the piling up of munitions inside the Saqr military base in southern Baghdad,” Iraq’s joint military-police Baghdad Operations Command wrote on its Facebook page.
According to a security source quoted by Reuters, the facility stored short-range and Katyusha missiles.
Local media reported that the depot was controlled by the Sayyid of Martyrs Battalions, often described by mainstream media outlets as an Iranian-backed group.

Very said to hear this. The management on the weapon depot is not professional and capable or may have secret link with CIA.
Backwards again I see .
Them Israeli aircraft really are invisible to Iraqi and Syrian radars. F-35i invisibility ends at Iran’s S-373 and Russia’s S-400. However the S-300 is useless junk.
At least S-300 detects when someone upvotes his own comment
Becoming a common hazard those mystery fires on ammunition depots, strange that it never happens on US/coalition bases.
The Americans have a strict protocol for handling bomb storage. But I suspect the reason for the explosions in Iranian weapons warehouses is different.
Directed energy weapons used to create explosions at the ammo depot. This is not about ammo handling.
