Nations are massively closing their airspace for Boeing 737 MAX planes over the deadly crash in Ethiopia. At least 27 airlines have now grounded the Max 8.
On March 12, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) announced an EU-wide airspace ban on the aircraft in order to ‘ensure the safety of passengers.”
“Following the tragic accident of Ethiopian Airlines flight ET302 involving a Boeing 737 MAX 8, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is taking every step necessary to ensure the safety of passengers.
As a precautionary measure, EASA has published today an Airworthiness Directive, effective as of 19:00 UTC, suspending all flight operations of all Boeing Model 737-8 MAX and 737-9 MAX aeroplanes in Europe. In addition EASA has published a Safety Directive, effective as of 19:00 UTC, suspending all commercial flights performed by third-country operators into, within or out of the EU of the above mentioned models.
The accident investigation is led by the Ethiopian Authorities with the support of the National Transportation Safety Board, as the aircraft was designed and built in the United States. EASA has offered their assistance in supporting the accident investigation.
EASA is continuously analysing the data as it becomes available. The accident investigation is currently ongoing, and it is too early to draw any conclusions as to the cause of the accident.“
The EASA announcement followed an avalanche of bans and suspensions from European countries and carriers.
The situation is developing in light of the Ethiopian Airlines crash on March 10 killing 157 people on board. This was the second disaster involving the new Boeing jet in the last six months. The previous tragedy took place in October when Indonesia’s Lion Air 737 Max 8 crashed killing 189 passengers and crew.
It should be noted that the the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) came with a statement in defense of Boeing claiming that the 737 Max 8 model is airworthy. The FFA declined to order airlines to ground the jet. However, this appeared not enough to rescue Boeing from the ongoing crisis.
The situation is developing.

As a Mechanical Engineer, I tell you and have posted before based on experience, Americunt “technology” is junk and all stolen from Europe from Von Braun onwards. US built cars are absolute rubbish, electronic industry does not exist aerospace is basically based on Hollywood hype. The sad part is that Russia and China have not been able to produce a joint passenger aircraft due to political reasons. The real threat to Americunts will come from China in a decade in all spheres. The Americunts are even undermining their own EU lapdogs by placing restrictions on EADS consortium. Airbus is far superior to anything that the Americunt fat pigs have. SU-100 unfortunately has western parts and its sales are restricted.

Sukhoi 100 uses US manufactured parts and can not be exported without US approval.
US has blocked sale of Sukhoi Superjet Aircraft to Iran as it uses 10% US parts and Russia so far has not been able to produce domestic sustitutes.
When this first started, Reuters was saying China “suspends” 737max planes. The normal term would be grounded, but when all the big corporations work together, they arrange to massage the story to maximize profits. Even the FAA is merely the PR arm of Boeing, and will whitewash this story, even after another plane crashes.
Lots of airlines in Asia including Singapore poodle colony have ground them as well as lapdog extraordinaire Australia. These are unsafe junk planes where the software obviously can not read altitude properly and the pilots can not use manual override, the Lion Air crash in Indonesia last year had the same problem and if this 737 junk max is not scrapped, many more lives will unfortunately be lost.

For some things Boeing is better, for others Airbus. While Airbus gambled everything on their A380, bigger then Boeing 747, to carry LOTS of passengers from hub to hub where they could take their next (smaller) flight to their end destinations, Boeing correctly assumed that people would rather travel in one go to their destination straight from start to finish, and they developed a series of long range aircraft instead. After all, who wants to go through endless transits? Boeing won and Airbus has announced it will cease building the A380.
It also helps to have a healthy mix of both manufacturers in your inventory, so in case like what’s happening now not your entire fleet gets grounded.

On the ground its in sane here too. We have so many traveeling to jobs every day. They mainly are in cars for 4-5 persons even they only are 1. The engine is made for driving 180 km pr our, but the absolute max here in Denmark are 130 km pr hour.
Smaller cars even would help making many more parking spaces in th town centers, which also could be cheeper.
