On February 13, Boko Haram militants attacked a vehicles convoycarrying the governor of the southern Nigerian state of Borno, Kashim Shettima. The governmetn as well as the governorship candidate from the All Progressives Congress (APC) party, Babagana Umaru, escaped attack unhurt. However, the incident is surrounded by suspicious factors.
According to reports, the ambush took place near the town of Dikwa. The militants were dressed in military uniform and were in what appeared to be two military trucks parked by the side of the road. They followed the convoy for some time and then attacked it.
At least 5 persons, including one soldier, were killed in the attack. Multiple others and several vehicles from the convoy were abducted.
A day earlier, on February 12, the Nigerian Army eliminated 11 Boko Haram members in Madagali, Adamawa State. According to pro-government sources, soldiers of 143 Battalion, 28 Task Force Brigade, Sector 1 Operation Lafiya Dole neutralised the terrorists when they staged an attack on their position. One member of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) was killed and one soldier was injured in the clashes.

Actually the yanks have been destabilizing Nigeria for some time. The problems in Myanmar are also a joint US/UK effort, they don’t want China to develop the major oil field in the Bay of Bengal.
All wars are about money, and oil is liquid money.
Nigeria is another front in the US war against oil producers. The Americans seem desperate to raise the price of oil. Makes you wonder how close the big American oil companies are to bankruptcy?
