On July 19, a Russian fighter aircraft, presumably Su-35, was shot down in the area of Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region. The area is under control of Russian military.
The incident took place at about 8 p.m. The pilot ejected. Russian rescue helicopters are working at the crash site.
The Air Forces Command of Ukrainian Armed Forces claimed that the aircraft was shot down by a unit of the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Ukrainian Air Forces.
On the other side, Russian sources supposed that the aircraft could be hit by Russian air defence systems. Russian air defence forces were active in the area right before the incident. If they are right, this case would be the second in two days. On July 18, Russian Su-34 was shot down by Russian forces near Alchevsk in the LPR. The pilots also successfully ejected.
Russia need to better coordinate between aircraft and SAM sites, they are doing more harm to their military then Ukraine! Hope the pilot is alive and unhurt!

What is an Su29 ? Russia’s jamming superiority is only proven in writing. Their military has performed crap no matter what. US already invaded Kuwait and Iraq in less time……thousands of km from home. Yes they failed eventually trying to keep it, but initial invasion side they succeeded.

If you intend to tell others that things are fake you should start with the fact there are no SU29 and never have been.
Oh yes SU29 exists, used to be a training plane, believe now upgraded to SU31, both have propellers, so confusion with jet planes unlikely. But if Ukrie or Russian jet is still the question (not necessarily SU34).

This is most probably friendly fire it happens. Let’s say Ukraine did shoot the fighter jet down it means nothing. Russia has carried out thousands of sorties in Ukraine, thousands and almost no Russian fighter jets have been shot down which means Russia’s fighter jets are almost in no threat statistically speaking. No reason to be worried whatsoever.

If these planes have been shutting down by Russia air defence system, it represents a very lack of coordination and intelligent mistakes .
Either way, Russian airforce performance in this war has been sub par. Struggling to maintain air superiority or control weapons influx into Ukraine.
With about 100 SA-10 batteries all around Ukraine, you could only image how any other airforce would performe. In 1991 and 2003 Irak had not a single SA-10, as example.

Su.35 lost as a possible result of negligence by our own side! If so everything should be done to make sure that these two events are Not repeated. Thankfully the pilots ejected and are safe and well. Confusion in the heat of battle is a reality so focus and good training are essential at every level and at all stages. Investigate these two incidents learn what went wrong and make sure it never happens again. Stay focused and stay safe……
