On March 19, the Russian Ministry of Defense declared the full Russian control of the village of Orlovka. The settlement is located west of Avdeevka and it was the central part of the Ukrainian line of defense after the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost control of the city.
The Russian Defense Ministry declared that the assault units of the Center Group and the 1st Army Corps of the Southern Military District liberated the settlement of Orlovka in the Avdeevka direction.
The western part of the village has been inflamed by prolonged battles. The AFU attempted numerous counterattacks to take back control of the settlement. As a result, Russian forces repelled all Ukrainian assaults on the streets of Orlovka and gained the full control of the village. The last Ukrainian positions located on the south-western outskirts were destroyed.

Orlovka is the central village on the line of Ukrainian defense west of Avdeevka, which includes Berdychi-Semenovka-Orlovka-Tonenkoe.
Battles for Berdychi and Tonenkoe continue. The AFU are in control of the western part of Berdychi, while the AFU attempt counterattacks on the north-western outskirts of Tonenkoe. According to preliminary reports, the Ukrainian command began evacuation of the military personnel from Tonenkoe.
The recent Russian advance north of Orlovka allowed the Russian troops to reach the southern outskirts of Semenovka. At the same time, battles are already ongoing near the northern part of the village on the Outskirts of Berdychi. The assault on Semenovka is likely to begin in the coming days.

the problem with russian identity is that it is no longer a real identity. it is a hodgepodge identity like america where owning a russian passport is enough to be considered a “russian,” rather than someone who is easternmost slavic with a genetic lineage going back centuries.
