BREAKING: Russian Forces Leave Northern Part Of Kherson Region

Illustrative Image: Kherson city sign

The Russian military has recently left several towns in the northern part of the Kherson region amid the increased pressure by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

After the Ukrainian military reached the village of Dudchany located on the right bank of the Kakhovsky reservoir and attacked Russian positions in the area of Davidov Brod on the north western front lines of the Kherson region, the Russian grouping in the north of the region faced the risk of encirclement.

As a result of Ukrainian offensive, the Russian military decided to withdraw from the area. They left the towns located on the left bank of the Ingulets River, including Davidov Brod, where the fierce fighting had been ongoing for about two months, Olgino, Arkhangelskoe, Velikaya Aleksandrovka and Malaya Aleksandrovka. They also left their positions near Novovoskresenskoe and Novaya Kamenka.

BREAKING: Russian Forces Leave Northern Part Of Kherson Region

Russian forces are expected to establish their defences along the Kostroma — Borozenskoye — Mylovoye line. So far, clashes near Dudchany continue.

The retreat allowed the Russian military to avoid the encirclement and straighten the front line. Taking into account the limited contingent of Russian forces deployed in the region, the manoeuvre should also shorten the front line which will strengthen the Russian defence.

Unlike the Ukrainian military command, which freely uses military personnel as cannon fodder, the Russian military is determined to save the lives of military personnel. So far, all Russian groupings that were surrounded by Ukrainian troops have been evacuated before their destruction. The Russian side is suffering from a shortage of military personnel and urgently needs to strengthen its military positions with mobilized servicemen in order to stop the advance of Ukraine and launch any counter-offensive operations.

The AFU are aimed to reach the city of Novaya Kakhovka, where the hydroelectric power station is located, and further advance to Kherson. If their advance continues, the capital of the region may be surrounded. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are already preparing for offensive operations in the area of Snigirevka, from where they will try to advance to the city of Kherson from the north-western direction. Another direction of the Ukrainian offensive may be the Posad-Pokrovsky region, where the AFU hold their military positions 30 kilometers west of the city. At the same time, the Ukrainian navy has already demonstrated its intentions to launch an assault operation in the Dnieper estuary.

The situation seems critical for the Russian military. If immediate measures are not taken, the security of the entire Kherson region, which recently voted for joining the Russian Federation, may be under threat. In this case, the Crimean peninsula will also fall under the sights of Ukraine and NATO.

I don’t see you on the front defending those positions. What is your excuse? Whatever it is, I say SHAME! to you too.

V for victory

I am NOT a russian and therefore i don’t need to defend my homeland, and you where are then? When and where Ucros came you know well how they handle the ‘secessionists’. A lot of persons who trusted the referendum will be executed or tortured or both. And russians are leaving them alone. Is not a shame for you?

Counter offensive worked

I say that the pro-Russian Ukrainians or “secessionists” should move to Russia to avoid any reprisals. Many Russians are fleeing the partial mobilization so it is a shame to them. If by the end of the year the partial mobilization fails to turn things around then evacuation of the Russians in Ukraine to Russia should be a priority.

SlavaZ

It’s a shame that Ukraine is wasting so many men on this worthless territory and smart of the Russians not to waste men on defending it.

When these regions are officially part of Russia and the real war starts, it will quickly be over for the Ukrop goons.

Carlo

The mantra has changed. Get updated! Now you must say “Crimea is more important than Kherson”

Clyde

I remember the start of the SMO, when a goal was to stop the ethnic cleansing operation in Donbas. Lo and behold if the Russians didn’t end up with a huge swathe of territory including part of Kherson and Zaporyzhe. The Ukrotards, on the other hand, were all set to drive the last Moskals out of Donbas at that time. So today, who is closer to attaining their goal? The conflict will end when the Russians determine that the territory they hold is strategically defensible. Could be a little of Kherson, could be a lot.

Russian

Wonderful! Now straighten the frontline till it reaches Moscow.

V for victory

Meanwhile, a lot of men and women will be executed or tortured or both. I never expected that even in Kherson russian army could not repel the enraged ukronazis. We are talking about the life and security of millions new russians citizen, can you figure it?

And no, Kiev clown doesn’t care about the life of his men at arms, as you can see. All what matters is to gain a victory for Biden and the mid-term elections.

Che Habana

Yes, it’s not looking good for the Russians. I think someone totally mistaken planned the amount of troops need to take Ukraine. I see too many videos of Ukrainians driving around like there is no Air Force or helicopters. Something is not going right with the Russian military and again, I worry, that CIA has infiltrated military of Russians with traitors and looking to kick out Putin. Then, Russia is over. NATO will exploit any weakness and carry it over to the motherland. Time to replace military officers who are not competent including the big guys. Better do something quick!

Karl

Are you delusional? So every time the ukros take territory by winning is wortless territory? Back in April to August that’s what the ukros said about Russian advances, but now the tide has turned and in russia everyone is arestovich now? also, this is, or was russian “territory” and i don’t see the Russians attacking “decision centers” nor doing shit, just running like little cowards who don’t want to even fight

Russians are giving up hard to defend territory because they don’t need to risk men to hold them. When these areas are officially part of Russia in 1-2 days the Russian military will declare war and then the Russian military will finally have the freedom to go ape on the Ukrogoons and everything will end very quickly.

This is non-news. The only people who think these little bits of territory matter are the Ukrainian goons who are desperate for a bit of good news.

The most advanced missiles America has travel at 0,56 MACH. Russian missiles travel at 12 MACH. If America fired a nuke at Moscow it would take 9 hours to arrive. If Russia fired a nuke at Washington DC it would take 30 minutes to arrive.

Anyone who thinks Russia doesn’t have the military capabilities is a blubbering idiot.

How can Russia win the war? Easy: By mobilizing 300.000 men and declaring the Donbass part of Russia.

The Russians are losing at present. Soldiers are fighting bravely and well, but military leadership is garbage. Shoigu should have been replaced. I read he is not military man. True? What is wrong with Putin. He is a former espionage man. Maybe he was scared a military man would do a coup on him. IDK, but things are not looking good and NATO will exploit any weakness to make bigger problems for Russia. This is life or death of the country and Putin does not realize the severity of the situation. Maybe time for change of leadership for a hardcore maniac like Stalin except the Siberian work camps should be reserved for Ukrainian POW’s and Russian political criminals.

Krimeea is very hard to take. It’s impossible for ukro-fascists. There the front is very narrow and only an amphibious landing will do something. But all Krimeea is packed with soldiers and weapons on a 150men/km, not like 150 men/10 km like in Kherson/Zaporodjie/Kharkov Impossible. Please keep the logic sense not some imbecile dreams.

Has not made sense from the beginning , what they are and are not doing. Damn right , something’s wrong.

RealityOfWar

Russia has not reacted to the buildup and preparations of Ukrainian forces. They have reacted too late to hold territory. The reality is on the Map in front of everyone – Russia is losing territory! What that means on the ground is people who supported Russia will be ostracized and onlookers will see Russia as weak! Russia though never really bothers about the individual – that is not a criticism of Russia, it is just Russia expects that you should sort yourself out – so run faster. Russia also doesn’t care what anyone else thinks, they are impervious to that. Russia only focuses and fights for the end result. How many have rocked up in Moscow, only to find themselves capitulating in their own capitals. So bottom line Russia just keep grinding away increasing troop numbers and carrying on until they get the end result – regardless of if territory is lost or gained.

Matt

Playing devil’s advocate I’ve come to realize some of the logic the Russian Federation has been attempting to exercise over the last 8 years in this war. That the Ukrainian people were completely corrupted by the Western banking front for decades both before and after the collapse of the U.S.S.R. and that ultimately “when the student is ready the teacher appears”… But it doesn’t negate in any way the sacrifices that the best Ukrainians under the DPR/LPR and the suffering they have had to endure when they could have received more intervention than they did over these years from their cousin next door?…

People getting killed and blown up. It’s a real war. Russia, at present, is losing. Time to regroup and replace incompetent people.

I rationally disagree that Russia is losing.

Clyde

Russia, at present, is winning since the goals were to stop the ethnic cleansing operation in Donbas, prevent Krusty the Klown of Kiev from gettting his NATO secret nucleaer decoder ring, and tear up the military capacity of the armed forces of the failed Ukrainian CIA project. The Ukrotards are trying to get the Russians out of Kherson when they were all set for the Big Push Joint Forces Operation to jump off last March. An all-around loss for the Ukrainians, by any measure.

deja vu

As to be expected. The moment Ukros made a breakthrough it was obvious Russians don’t have any reserves to counter.

Trading space for time is not a problem, but delaying mobilization and ignoring critical lack on manpower for months is a crime. This territory needs to be taken back one day and soldiers have to die doing so. Not to mention civilians left behind to be tortured by Bandera worshipers.

But right now it’s important to survive this October with minimal losses while inflicting as much as possible to Ukros.

MarkU

You are right, delaying the mobilisation was an error. The appearance of what is essentially a NATO army in the Kharkov region has obviously taken the RF by surprise. Evidently the Ukrainians that were training in NATO lands have been thrown in, doubtless with plenty of NATO mercenaries to operate the trickier equipment. Until the reinforcements arrive the RF is going to struggle to plug the holes. Most people don’t appreciate how big those territories are and how thinly spread the troops are (on both sides)

Valens

I’m not impressed with Ukro offensives, they are advancing Soviet style. Not strong Soviets late war but shitty Soviets 1941/2. Any capable army, even outnumbered, could ambush Ukros columns and slaughtered them with artillery, AT’s, tanks, aircrafts, helicopters… theoretically 4 assault helis could kill them all. None of these vehicles should survive. Unfortunately, RuArmy is not capable. I hate to say it but that’s what it is. Gerasimov’s doctrine, “army professionalization” was not a such a bad idea, but it was implemented badly.

All this reminds me of Russo-Turkish war 1877/8. which one German military observer described as: “a blind man fighting a crippled man.” That’s what this is : a terrible bloodbath.

What colour is the sky in your world? The Russians didn’t lose ten percent of their population who fled as refugees, and they already had four times the population of the failed Ukrainian CIA project. 300 000 mobilized Russians means a vast swathe of active duty personnel can go to deal with the Americans and their Ukrainian puppets. It’s seems very likely to get very ugly, very soon, and by all accounts it’s already very ugly for the average Ukrainian soldier.

Che Habana

This is exactly strategy Russia did to Nazi’s. How did the morons in Moscow not prepare for this? In the military they call this Piss Poor Planning. Look at the poor planning Russians did in Kharkiv and kherson, not only that. But Russia is afraid to get it’s troops surrounded even if reinforcement arrive Ukraine knows they are afraid of encirclement and fast tactics. So Ukraine can continue doing that even when those Russian reinforcements arrive. They will still be able to be encircled and forced to retreat rather than fight to the death

I gues it is time to appologize to all those nato trolls as hard as it feels but this is not how victory looks. It is not defeat but that that ukrainians are even able to mount a counteroffensive was laughted at some weeks ago…

Because the Ukrotards were not capable at that time. The US and NATO vassals literally had to grab the Ukrotards by the collar, after ramping up welfare to the tune of $85 billion, and send them into a Russian meat-grinder. Where are the Russian prisoners if they fought and lost the territory? A Russian win is: no Ukrainian entry into NATO, check. NATO has said, just like outlaw bikers with a hanger-on, “maybe later you can join the club”; end of the kooky Banderpite ethnic cleansing in Donbas, check. Regardless of where the borders end up in a year, that crazy shit is over. So by all means, jerk off whomever you want, but your propaganda pitch is prety stale.

Akbar

if kherson is lost, there is no way to take it back given RF don’t have the capability to launch cross-river assault with overwhelming number of troops and sufficient logistic. The bridgehead in Kherson must and can only be defended without compromising garrison strength in Zaparozhi, meaning no allocation of existing force in Zaparozhi.Or Ukrop can exploit this opportunity to launch counter offensive and all the way push to the coast thorugh Melitopol. This will turn out to be the real disaster for Russia. Then Russia probably need to mobilize another 500,000 to fix it. Americunt doesn’t care how many Ukrop die or how much land accession to Russia as the end, but they like to see more struggle from Russia in this war.

hash

Mike

I am so confused by this. There have been less than 6,000 losses of Russian soldiers and they should have at least 1.5 Million total forces with the 1.15 million standing army + 300K mobilization of reserves + Wagner + DPR + LPR.

How can there be a shortage of manpower?

hash

Akbar

The total land force of Russia available at the start of SMO was 400,000. The rest are airforce, naval, rockets, intelligence, etc, and a lot of who work at the office desk, which probably account for 50% of this 1.2 million). They have vast territory and boarder to be covered, especially garrisons in Syria (dozens of thousands manpower) and Kalilingrad… a lot of complacency and incompetency….

Clyde

Yep. Complacency and incompetency is what led to NATO having to take over the Ukrotards entirely after the Russians ended up sitting on 20% of the former Ukrainian territory.

Only now it is to see the reality of the military-politically russian status. What told Strelkov for 8 years, and for what others paid with theirs life, like Motorola, Zackarchenco, Givi, etc, real patriots and excellent army commanders, is show now. A very potent army full of nepotism, corruption, stolen funds, very insufficient equipped, insufficient funded, incompetent staff, etc, etc…….Just read the yesterday Strelkov interview and he spoke about all of that. The bottom line is that despite there was 8 years good for war preparation, russians done almost nothing in direction to win the coming war. The general opinion amongst russian ethnics inside nazi banderastan is that they were perceived as a very heavy millstone for Russia and Russia didn’t know for 8 years how to discard that issue. Only after other things entered the ecuation, like the secret ameriscum biological laboratories, Russia finally take the action. But, because of the above mentioned, with no proper preparations. I’m confident as even Strelkov is, that if Russia will change its military leaders soon, a clear and utterly destroy of the ukrop hohola neohitlerists could happen in a max. of 12-18 months by now.

It is right and noble to preserve the lives of the troops, but once the enemy realises that you will retreat under pressure in the flanks, to avoid the risk of encirclement, casualties or capture, the enemy is able to exploit those vulnerabilities to great effect.

This approach is still viable, but it requires that Russia use whatever weapons and tactics are required to completely destroy the enemy formations, including tactical nuclear.
