At the late hours of November 29, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the Syrian Arab Air Defense Forces (SyAADF) had shot down several unidentified flying objects over the district of al-Kiswah south of the Syrian capital of Damascus.
“Initial reports say that all enemy objects were destroyed and didn’t reach any of their targets,” the SANA said in a short press release.
Local sources told SouthFront that the SyAAD is still launching surface-to-air missiles at flying objects over Damascus and al-Quneitra. Several loud explosions were also heard between the two governorates.
The available information indicate that the Israeli Air Force (IAF) attempt to strike positions of Iranian forces south of Damascus. However, the Syrian and Israeli media are yet to provide more details.
If confirmed, this would be the first Israeli airstrike on Syria since the downing of the Russian Il-20 intelligence plane on September 17. Following the incident, Russia supplied Syria with the S-300 air defense system and an advanced command and control system.

What you are concluding is that air defense is always so at a disadvantage that the only real defense against an air and missile attack is a powerful return strike. If that’s the only real defense, even for a country like Russia who has these SAM’s that attack aircraft at better than Mach 10, than there seems little hope at avoiding escalating missile strikes if Russia has to defend herself against a NATO assault. That means escalating to the types of missiles that change everything for life on Earth, especially human societies.

If the reports are true of a complete failure of the blood sucking baby raper’s attack. This marks a quantum leap in Syrian air defense capability. Which up to this point was usually partially successful. Syria’s 1,000 launcher strong air defense system hardware hasn’t changed much, except for the addition of the S-300s. Which there are no reports that they were even used.
If that’s indeed the case. Then the only thing that’s changed is the integration of Syria’s launch system into the Russian satcom network that they were originally designed for. And rather than operating as partially or completely stand alone systems. Much of the hardware on the ground now has much more advanced awareness of what’s coming. And with this improved tracking and targeting capability, can take down enemy weapons much more effectively.
There’s also the issue of upgraded deployment of Russian electronic warfare systems. Which probably played a part as well. None of this looks good for Israel or NATO. And it stands as a stark warning to the US in Al-Tanf and SDF held areas that their planes and troops are very vulnerable.
Hopefully the no fly zone excluding NATO and Israeli aircraft over 70% of Syria’s skies will be expanded to Al-Tanf and SDF held areas with few or any hostilities. And the Syrian government coalition forces can advance in those areas without further interference from US airstrikes.

You may be right but I’m still waiting for some more info. I have no idea about those photos of the downed objects, I can’t tell what they are, rockets from HTS or missiles from Israel. Still too hazy for me to be sure what just happened, if the circumstances were any different I would have already suspected it was definitely the Israelis, but as I said in my post, it’s now possibly just as likely to be HTS trying to initiate a false flag attack. When they find out what the objects actually were and let us know, we’ll all know for sure who it was. For hundreds of dead and hundreds of airstrikes there’s very little in the way of photo evidence so far to back it up, one of the most populated areas on earth with millions of mobile phones should mean thousands of pictures and videos already posted, 2 days later we’re still waiting for those.

Israel is denying it fired on Syria? So it’s highly likely that Syria did intercept either Israeli cruise missiles, and or an Israeli plane. If it is a plane, and it’s an F35, Americas worst nightmare just came true.

The above is hinted by the fact that Israel firstly declared that “some projectile” fell in the Golan, and they then witheld any other statement, probably until they found whatever it was on the ground (if the “projectile” did fall on the Syrian side they would have to admit something more).
The Syrians on their side, initially stated a plane was shot down, but being unable to prove it as it did not fall over Syria they chose to not push the narrative.
