According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Brunei has an interest to purchase of Russian Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft.
“Deliveries of our Superjet 100 planes are possible,” Peskov said on May 19.
The statement was made following the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah.
The Superjet 100 is a twin-engine regional passenger airliner. The aircraft can transport up to 98 passengers at a distance of up to 2,700 miles. It costs around $36 million in its basic configuration.
