On July 30, a large explosion rocked a checkpoint of Turkish-backed militants near the town of Tell Halaf in the northern al-Hasakah countryside.
A booby-trapped car exploded after approaching the checkpoint. The checkpoint, that’s known as the “silos checkpoint,” is located right on the entrance of Tell Halaf, west of the border town of Ras al-Ain.
Opposition sources said at least six militants of the so-called Syrian National Army and the Free Syrian Police were killed in the explosion. More than 15 others were reportedly injured. It remains unclear if the casualties include any Turkish service member.
Ten days ago a similar car bomb attack targeted Ras al-Ain. Four people were killed and ten others were injured. On July 26, another explosion rocked the town, killing eight people and injuring 19 others.
No group has claimed responsibility for any of these attacks, so far. Nevertheless, Kurdish forces were blamed by Turkey and Syrian opposition activists.
These repeated attacks are disturbing peace in Turkish-occupied areas in northern and northeastern Syria. Yet, the Turkish military and its Syrian proxies are doing nothing whatsoever to improve security there.
His terrorist colleagues were turned in half minced meat while that guy dances (or whatever is he doing) and argues with imaginary enemy….while other is making video for his Twitter account.
How could they survive all these years in war with that attitude?
Well at least he didn’t start crying like some NATO soldiers in Iraq recently.
Wake’s motherly feelings in you Bacon… :)
FSA is terrorist i hate them i am turk
glad to hear that
FSA they are a brainwashed group
And what else they can be? Fighting false jihad 1st for Zionist’s, CIA; MI6, Mossad than serving Turk Imperial ambitions while killing Muslims, their compatriots all the time. What kind of “jihad” is that? What would be the purpose of that war? Why destroying Syria completely and how their children are going to live there if everything is destroyed ?
I will tell you now Syria’s war problem is not Assad it is population and war started by Fsa The United States and other countries have given a lot of weapons to them to win over Assad and Russia protects Syria if they were not there Assad would have been dead and become a new Libya like Gaddafi that is why Russia is there, they do not want Syria lose Assad so it will be war 10-15 years more even worse than Libya because Syria has many different groups they will rule country and Isis will return again when Assad falls and it becomes more Chaos Isis Hts Ypg Fsa they will face each other if it is without Assad
I don’t think Russia-Assad are going anywhere and that’s why Russia and Turkey and Iran have found agreement about future of the Syria. Also US economy is about to collapse so those who depend on them will be losers and Syria will be re-united
Maybe I am wrong but I do not share such very dark vision of Syrian future.
hmm wait and see but if they want to overthrow Assad so it must be a choice do not kill Assad like Gaddafi it is bad idea
“wait and see” I did wait and see and here was all 20+ enemies of Assad including Arab regimes and NATO, Turkey, Israel etc. yet you couldn’t kill him! The point is you can’t get rid of Assad as long as Russia is here
And Russia is in Syria to stay for very long time
Yes agree but when Putin stops as president so Assad falls and I do not think Iran and Hezbollah can help him to protection against terrorists and NATO
Iran and Hezbollah have all the proves that they were incapable protecting Assad despite big mouth talk of some Shia agents here on the forum.
Assad was saved by Russia in the last moment. As for Putin he probably stays because there is nobody younger good enough to replace him. I honestly do hope that Russia turkey Iran agreement will bring lasting peace to Syria that doesn’t mean that people must vote for Assad forever. If they chose somebody else Russia will support Syrian people choice.
I actually think Syria has some men who can replace Assad but they are just usa puppet
Nobody is irreplaceable but the timing for new elections and possible replacement of Assad are still far away down the road
of course there will not be an intelligent like Assad if he is gone but I think the United States has a plan to look for a Syrian leader who is the United States puppet when Assad falls because the United States has said itself that they want a Syrian leader who goes up and cooperates with them
I don’t think that things will work out the way U.S. has planned for Syria in everything including Assad. Russia and Iran are there to stay for quite long time And I don’t believe that Kurd will have state.
Kurds will never get a state as long as Erdogan is president Erdogan himself has also said he will bomb Kurds if Kurds own Syrian land
Those are only Erdogan’s bombings which I would support
I promise you Iran and Hezbollah are going to help Assad if NATO comes and attacks because Assad knows he does not have many soldiers left he only has 100,000 left it is not enough when going against Idlib and other areas Assad must have at least 200,000
I agree. I think that everybody by now knows that Assad doesn’t have enough soldiers. That is very old problem
SAA becomes a bit of a failure after Issam Zahreddine ‘s death because he has helped and training with them to become wiser and experience without him they become weaker
its war things like that happen
just look at the Houthis they use young soldiers and make them fast to get strong and SAA has almost many old soldiers over 40-50 years of age it does not work they have to have young and fresh soldiers like the Houthis have Saudi can not win over Houthis because Houthis is found by Iran and Abdul Malik Houthis has experience with tactics and training and it has no SAA anymore after Issam’s death
Sorry I don’t know who the Issam is
