Central Syria: 13 Syrian Service Members Killed, 18 Wounded In New ISIS Ambush

On March 6, at least 13 service members of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) were killed and 18 others were wounded when ISIS terrorists ambushed a bus that was transporting them in the central region of Syria

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, the bus was ambushed by ISIS terrorists in the eastern countryside of Homs.

“At around 1:30 this afternoon, a military shuttle bus passing in Palmyra desert, to the east of T3 Pumping Station, was the target of a terrorist attack with various types of weapons,” an unnamed military source told the state-run agency.

A number of the service members killed or wounded in the well-planned ambush were reportedly officers. ISIS is yet to officially claim responsibility for the ambush.

This was ISIS’ second attack in central Syria in less than 24 hours. Early on March 6, the group’s cells attacked several positions of the SAA and its allies near the town of al-Sawab in the eastern Homs countryside. The attack failed, however. At least two terrorists were killed.

ISIS’ recent attacks prove without a doubt that the terrorist group’s cells in central Syria can still conduct offensive operations, at least in the eastern countryside of Homs.

The terrorist group’s attacks will not go unpunished. The SAA and its allies, namely the Russian Aerospace Forces, will likely kick off an operation in central Syria to hunt down the terrorists responsible for these attacks in the upcoming few days.

USA probably kicking up dust with their Isis proxy now that Russia is busy with the Ukraine situation and can’t commit in the same way as before. That region was always about building a pipeline to carry Arab oil to Europe in order to cut out Russia but Assad didn’t allow it

Some good intel for isis to ambush a officer transport, they probally hoped to kill a russian advisor.

And with Isis being sent to Ukraine, USA probably wants isis to get more aggressive

They’ll get what they want, in no time. And that is death and destruction.
