Warplanes of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) carried out more than 90 airstrikes on ISIS cells in central Syria between September 2 and 3, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The airstrikes, which were carried out within 24 hours, targeted fortified hideouts of the terrorist group in the following areas:
- The eastern countryside of Homs;
- The Hama-Aleppo-Raqqa triangle;
- The western countryside of Deir Ezzor;
- The western countryside of Raqqa.
The VKS is apparently planning to step up its combat operations against ISIS cells in central Syria. On Septembers 1, Russian warplanes carried out more than 25 airstrikes on the terrorist group’s hideouts in the region. Furthermore, large manned reconnaissance planes of the VKS were spotted flying over the region.
Last August, Russian warplanes carried out over 550 airstrikes on central Syria. Nine terrorists of ISIS were killed and 20 others were wounded.
The VKS’ intense combat operation in central Syria led to a noticeable decline in ISIS attacks. Yet, the terrorist group continue to maintain a strong presence in the region. The group’s insurgency in the region will not likely end in the near future.
The US rescue and shuttle service for the CIA controled ISIS mercenaries will end as the US further retreats into its bubble of woke stupidity. :)
