China Employs Weltered Ukraine To Gain Military Technologies

Support SouthFront

China is actively employing weltered Ukraine to gain military technologies.

According to the EADaily news website, in April 2017, China’s North General Electronics Group bought design documents of the generator-boost module RIVK from Ukraine’s state-run Scientific research Institute “RI “Orion”. The deal’s cost was about USD 400,000.

“RI “Orion” is widely known among military experts because its microwave apparatus has been used in various Soviet military equipment: S-300 air defense systems, Pantsir short to medium range air defense systems and others. In modern Ukraine, “RI” Orion” participated in the development of corvettes for the Navy and the missile system “Sapsan”. North General Electronics Group is a branch of the Chinese state company Norinco.

EADaily also learned [through Importgenius] that “RI “Orion” had sold its another development product to China. In January 2018, the Ukrainian company sold design documents of the microwave module 468 521.005 to Huandon Photoelectric Technology Institute, which is involved in the Chinese projects in the sphere of radar and missile technologies.

According to data found by EADaily via Importgenius, in January and March, 2018 Ukraine’s Ukrspetsexport [state-owned arms trading company] sold to China’s Norinco the following: 3,000 silicon photodiodes FD-141K and 150 silicon photodetectors UFUR-01. The deal’s cost was about USD 860,000. The both products are used in the control systems of guided munitions.

Norinco is involved in the production and selling of a range of guided missiles employed in various equipment. Some of these systems are copies of the US-made TOW anti-tank guided missile and the French-German-developed Milan anti-tank guided missile. Norinco is a de-facto competitor of Ukrspetsexport in the international weapons market, which also sells guided missiles and munitions. However, this does not stop the Ukrainian leadership from selling its military technologies to China.

The Ukrainian Nazi government will sell their mothers for almost nothing.

FlorianGeyer

As their fathers did :)

BL

It’s a (((Nazi government))) not a Nazi government. There’s a difference.

Dmitry Lunyov

Nothing new, Ukraine has long been 1-the main seller of Soviet weapons to terrorists everywhere 2-the main drainer of Soviet technology to the Americans and the Chinese (recently sold drawings of the world’s largest aircraft An-225 “dream”) 3-the main CIS producer of scrap metal (from closed factories), selling it for a penny, including in Russia

Ivan Freely

They’re poorly run government which leads to a failed economy is the main reason. They’re cannibalizing themselves for short-term gain.

Icarus Tanović

The MAIN technology is in Russia. So, basically they’ve get just about nothing for little money. And this is largely false info. China wouldn’t bet on this.

Dr. Ronald Cutburth

Likely false information. China buys technology from Russia that is more advance than this. They would not likely waste hard cash when its easier to get from Russia-their ally

Barba_Papa

Considering how little they paid for this tech from the Ukraine they basically got it for free. The Russians would demand a lot more in exchange. At least that a few more zero’s be added to those amounts.

The Ukraine is so damn poor you offer them a million and they still think its a fortune. And maybe to them it is. In the rest of the world it’s chump change. I wouldn’t mind having it, don’t get me wrong, but in the West you still have to work hard to make that million work for you so you can live comfortably. Especially with the almost non-existent interest rates.

Nexusfast123

That is what neoliberal economic nuttery does. In a country like Ukraine the economy gets ‘hollowed-out’ quickly as everything has a price. The biggest losers are as always the people.

Barba_Papa

On the other hand China and Vietnam seem to have done quite alright transforming their socialist economies to capitalist ones. By now they’re more economically capitalist then most Western countries. I suspect that when Ukraine tried to transition, like in Russia it was the oligarchs who took over anything of value, but no Putin emerged who put the oligarchs back on the leash. So the Ukrainian state kept getting plundered leading to an ‘everyone for himself’ mentality down to the lowest level. And since the Ukraine is dirtpoor ‘gimme something quick right now’ is the prevalent mindset. They would rather have a fish right now then learn how to fish so they can feed themselves every day. Hell, they probably have contempt for anyone who tries to learn how to fish as it were, for at the moment the smart one has nothing while the dumbass can show some quick easy money.

Icarus Tanović

Agreed.

Sinbad2

Well at least China pays, the US just steals.

Mikronos

Tit for tat. The Ukrainians were selling Chinese-made Manpads, among other things to ISIS in Syria.

Ariel Cohen

What’s the bet the money from these deals has mysteriously vanished into some UkroNazi politicians’ pockets .. ?
