China’s Xiamen University Aerospace Academy and Beijing Lingkong Tianxing Technology Co. have successfully test launched “Jia Geng No. 1” hypersonic rocket.
The “Jia Geng No. 1” rocket employs a gas turbine that allows it to reach the speend of more than Mach 3. This turbine in fact has characteristics of a hypersonic ramjet engine.
