Ukrainian media shared a photo allegedly showing the damage to the railway near the Chongar bridge located between Crimea and the Kherson region. This is reportedly the result of Ukrainian attack with numerous Storm Shadow missiles that took place on July 29. LINK
On July 29, the Russian governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo declared that the air defense of the Russian Federation shot down 12 Storm Shadow missiles that attacked the railway to Crimea. The local authorities confirmed some minor damage to the railway facilities by wreckage of the missiles but the Ukrainian military did not disrupt the railway traffic.
However, judging by the footage shared by the Ukrainian sources, the attack result in damage to the railway. At least one missile or its wreckage hit the target. Other missiles were intercepted by Russian ADS. The satellite imagery also confirmed some damage to the bridge.

According to the photos, the railway did not receive any significant damage and it could be fastly repaired.
This was the second attack on the Chongar Bridge over the past month. On June 22, British-made Storm Shadow missiles damaged the road bridge that links the peninsula with the Kherson region. LINK
Ukrainian attacks with expensive foreign missiles on the railway to Crimea are aimed at cutting off the supply of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from the Crimea amid the ongoing Kiev’s offensive in Zaporozhye and Ukrainian preparations for the landing operations in the Kherson region. All such strikes are possible thanks to the constant survey of the region by the NATO satellites, reconnaissance UAVs and aircraft.
