Speaking on the TV channel CBS News, former deputy director of the CIA Michael Morell said that the settlement of the Syrian conflict needs “covertly” killing of Russians and Iranians.

According to Morell, Washington should support the militants in Syria more actively.

“When we were in Iraq, the Iranians were giving weapons to the Shia militia, who were killing American soldiers, right? The Iranians were making us pay a price. We need to make the Iranians pay a price in Syria. We need to make the Russians pay a price,” he said.

“We will make the Russians and the Iranians pay by killing them?” CBS co-host Charlie Rose asked Morell again.

“Yes. Covertly,” the former deputy director of the CIA confirmed.

Morell added that it is not necessary to report the Pentagon about it, but it is indispensable to “make sure they know it in Moscow and Tehran.” After, according to him, the US should “scare” Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, bombing Syrian government installations, including government offices, aircraft and presidential guard positions “in the middle of the night.”

Morell believes that all this would “put pressure” on Damascus, Moscow and Tehran, and lead to “a diplomatic solution”.

A State Department spokesman declined to comment on the words of the ex-spy, advising to “turn to our briefings and policy with respect to Syria.”

Earlier, Michael Morell supported Hillary Clinton in her struggle for the presidency in an article in The New York Times. Republican Donald Trump was described by the ex-CIA officer as “an unwitting agent” of Russia. Trump said in response that Morell acts on orders from the White House.

And how would this be different then what we are doing now? Every single helicopter that has been shot down, has been shot down by a U.S. made TOW missile. We are already directly supplying weapons to anti-Assad rebels who are fighting Iranians and Russians who get in the way and we supply weapons to Saudi Arabia and Turkey who funnel these weapons to the Islamic Radicals.

This is a serious question, the only way to escalate matters would be to send in special forces to do targeted assassinations.

BTW he is repeating the myth of ‘shaped charges’ being supplied by Iran. We never intercepted shipments of weapons from Iran. The military just assumed that shaped charges were too sophisticated for the militias to build for themselves. All that you need is plastic explosives, copper, and a machine shop. All of this was available in Iraq. It’s probably true that Iran helped Shiite militias to some extent, perhaps gave them money but their involvement has been exaggerated.

My guess is that it would be met by counter operations by the russian spetznaz that would be covert as well. The russians would then deny any affiliation with the attackers. But yes, this is dangerous politics. They must be mad to think that the russians would not respond in good measure to this transgression.

Actually, this is just the minimum danger of the Cold War nostalgists. They forget that if they get their wish, that they are inviting Russia to return the favor like they did during the first Cold War. These guys are truly, dangerous, imbeciles.

This is definitely an insight into the way powerful people in Washington think. I believe President Putin is sane, sensible and restrained. He would be making a big error if he thought that decision makers in the west are the same.

This is because the Russians act like bloody morons.

They ought to have refused to impose arms embargo on one warring side in Yemen (the Houthis), on the condition that either it should be imposed on all the warring parties, or none, but preferably all the warring parties (including Saudi Arabia).

It would have had the effect of making Fashington’s heinous allies pay a bloody price for their actions.

In the world of hollywood’s propaganda nazi movies he would make an excellent gestapo figurehead. He has the looks, and especially the spirit. He will have to exercise the salute better, the fingers closer together, and the arm more straightened…

Real Anti-Racist Action

I’m having trouble understanding how him as a globalist has any relation to the nationalist axis allies of India, Iran, Finland, Austria, Spain and Iraq of the second World War?
