UPDATE: According to the reports, Jaysh al-Ummah, an al-Qaeda-inspired Salafi-jihadist group, took responsibility for yesterday’s rocket fire towards Israel.

On May 9th, Israel vowed to restore order in Jerusalem after hundreds of Palestinian protesters were wounded in weekend clashes with Israeli security forces.

The area around the revered Al-Aqsa mosque has seen several nights of violence, the worst since 2017, fuelled by a years-long bid by Jewish settlers to take over nearby Palestinian homes in Israeli-annexed east Jerusalem.

Police fired stun grenades and “skunk” water cannons spraying foul-smelling water at Palestinians outside the Old City’s Damascus Gate.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended Israel’s response to the protests and rioting in east Jerusalem.

“We will uphold law and order – vigorously and responsibly,” Netanyahu said ahead of a weekly cabinet meeting, while vowing to “guard freedom of worship for all faiths”.

All six Arab nations that have diplomatic ties with Israel – Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan – have condemned the Jewish state over its weekend aggression at Al-Aqsa.

The two nights of clashes – May 8th and 9th – took place around Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque complex, a frequent flashpoint for violence. It is one of Islam’s most revered sites, but its location is also the holiest site in Judaism, known as the Temple Mount.

The protests on May 9th began after tens of thousands of worshippers had prayed at the compound on Laylat al-Qadr, the most holy night in the Muslim month of Ramadan.

Protesters hurled stones at police at the Damascus Gate entrance to the Old City, and officers responded with stun grenades, rubber bullets and water cannon.

Almost 100 were injured, according to Palestinian medics.

May 8th saw some of the worst clashes in the city in years, with more than 200 Palestinians and at least 17 Israeli police were wounded in skirmishes near the mosque, emergency workers and police said.

On the morning of May 10th, the UN Security Council will convene an emergency session on Monday morning to discuss the escalating violence in Jerusalem, including major clashes on the Temple Mount.

The session will be held hours before a scheduled annual march of thousands of Jewish nationalists through the Old City in what some security officials fear may cause the situation to deteriorate.

Ahead of the meeting, UN Secretary-General António Guterres called for Israel to “cease demolitions and evictions, in line with its obligations under international humanitarian and international human rights law” and exercise “maximum restraint” in dealing with protests.

Meanwhile, the protests and clashes were accompanied by rocket launches from Gaza towards Israeli territory.

Several rockets were fired on the evening of May 9th, and then more on the morning of May 10th.

The IDF responded by striking various alleged Hamas targets in Gaza.

The situation is tense, as the protests are unlikely to stop, and Israel’s response is causing the situation to deteriorate, rather to subdue.

One day, as it happened a thousand times before, it will be the Jews being butchered in the streets again. When that day comes I will not weep. I will dance and sing and be merry.

Interesting how there would be so much attention to demos with no deaths in Israel but no one – and I mean, no one – cares about tens of thousands of dead monthly in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, etc. Hypocrites.

Ironically, the real nazis today are zioNazis/naZionists. They brutally forced Palestinians into ghettos while trying to create israeli “Lebensraum”.

Faisal al Al-Mahdi

The messenger of God (AS) said, “A group of my Ummah will remain on truth, they will vanquish their enemy and those who disagree with them will not be able to harm them until Allah commands”. “Where are these people”? The Companions (ra) asked. The Prophet (saw) said, “In and around Al-Quds (Jerusalem). God bless the Palestinians for the decades of injustice and opression they have endured , they are the real descandants of prophets David (AS) and Suleiman (AS), Amen. May God give them fortitude and certainty in the battle against the Zionist Satan forces, Amen. These are the end times and Jesus (AS) has returned. Satan’s days are numbered and he is due to die in the holy land of Palestine, inshAllah. This is a blessed war and God is here with the Imam Mahdi (AS)
