Clashes on the Lebanese front heated up on November 11 as Hezbollah launched more attacks against the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
Hezbollah said in a statement that it had fired rockets at the Israeli Ramim barracks in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms. Heavy rockets were reportedly used in the attack. In a later statement, the group announced its fighters targeted an infantry unit of the IDF on the Karantina Hill in the area of Hadab Yaroun.
Both attacks were carried out “in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance,” Hezbollah said in its statements.
From its side, the IDF alleged that a rocket fired at the settlement of Margaliot landed in an open area, causing no casualties or material losses.
Separately, the IDF said that overnight, surface-to-air missiles were launched from southern Lebanon at military drones near the border. Another aircraft struck the source of the missile fire, it added.
Lebanese media reported Israeli artillery strikes on the towns of Aita al-Shaab, Marwahin, al-Bustan, al-Jabin, Rmish, Maroun al-Ras, Aitaroun and Blida. Several airstrikes also hit the outskirts of Aita al-Shaab, Marwahin and the town of Ramya.

In addition, a combat drone of the IDF struck a truck parked at a banana farm near the town of Zahrani, some 40 kilometers away from the front. This was Israel’s deepest strike inside Lebanon since the clashes with Hezbollah broke out last month.

Hezbollah had been launching attacks against the IDF from southern Lebanon on a daily basis since the war in Gaza broke out on October 7. The recent increase in attacks from this front comes as Israel develops its ground operations in the Strip.
