A video of the Russian Defense Ministry’s Zvezda TV shows patrols of Mi-8 and Mi-35 military helicopters along the M4 highway in central Syria. The video shows how the helicopters provide cover for a column of civilian vehicles that move at the highway that links Homs and Deir Ezzor cities.
The Russian Aerospace Forces deployed its military helicopters to the area to provide security to convoys moving along the highway in response to the recent increase of ISIS attacks in the area.
