The Houthis launched a new large-scale attack on the border with the southern Saudi province of Jizan and imposed control of at least 20 positions of the Saudi-led coalition and its Yemeni proxies by February 14.
The Houthis’ media wing released a 21-minute video showing the group’s fighters storming coalition positions in the area of Harad. At least three vehicles, which were destroyed or damaged by the Houthis, can be seen in the video.
“No matter how many forces or vehicles you will have, we, with God’s will, will destroy them,” a field commander of the Houthis says in the video.
In the last few weeks, the Houthis stepped up their attacks along the border with Saudi Arabia. In some cases, the Yemeni fighters even advanced deep inside the kingdom’s territory, especially in Najran and Jizan.
According to observers, the Houthis view these cross-border attacks as a measrue to deter the Saudi-led coalition, which is trying to expand its control in northern and central Yemen.

Whenever the Houthis need more ammunition , weapons or medical supplies , they just raid the Saudi outposts in Najran and Jizaan. That’s a fool proof strategy , the Saudis run away , the Houthis , take what they need and burn the rest for no casualties. This war can go on infinitely. The arms dealers and arms manufacturers are making a killing from Saudi Arabia. Perhaps the Houthi power lies in their man-skirts? Those skirts make the Houthis bullet proof and invincible. The Saudis can’t win against those man-skirts as America cannot supply any US man-skirts to them.
