In the last 24 hours, ten violations to the ceasefire in Syria have been registered, six in Damascus, three in Aleppo and one in Hama, according to the Control Center for the Ceasefire in the military airbase in Khmeimim.

The organization also informed of the continuous shelling from Turkish territory to certain Syrian zones. According to a bulletin of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Opposite Parts in Syria, published in the website of the defense organism, the violations were registered in Aleppo (4), Damascus (2), Latakia (1) and Idlib (1).

Since midnight of February 27th, local time, ceasefire started to take place in Syria by means of the agreement reached by the UN and countries of the Middle East to halt hostilities in the war-torn nation. Since that moment several attacks have been registered, in its majority perpetrated by the so-called Islamic State and Al-Nusra Front since they were excluded from the ceasefire clauses.

The bulletin cited above also informs that the attacks were made with mortars, homemade artillery systems and rocket launchers. Also, it was known that the elder chiefs of two populated venues in Damascus province send help requests to the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Opposite Parts in Syria,

The announcement of the transgression of the truce takes place a day before the briefing between both Russian and American observers’ teams whose objective is to evaluate the situation of the ceasefire in Syria.

US Secretary of State, John Kerry claimed recently that the levels of violence in Syria have decreased an 80 to 90%, which, according to him is highly remarkable.

Last February 27th, at midnight, the cease of hostilities started in Syria, by means of a historic agreement that encompassed over 100 armed factions. The plan estimated that all the parts accepting the arrangement could participate of the ceasefire, except the groups qualified as terrorists, namely Daesh and Al-Nusra Front.

Syrian authorities have expressed their commitment to respect the ceasefire, but also they claim they have the right to respond to any violation to the truce carried out by any of the extremist groups in the country.

The Syrian army has faced several attacks in the northern city of Deir Ezzor, about 460 kilometers northeast from Damascus and Hama as well in the center of the country.

According to information provided by the UN, since March 2011, war in Syria has left over 250 000 people dead, 6,6 million displaced citizens inside the country and 4,3 million of migrants fleeing from violence in their homeland.
