The fight for the ‘liberal democracy’ seems to be on the rise in Moscow.
Russian investigators are looking for one of the participants of the July 27 anti-government riot in Moscow, who left with an alleged stranger’s infant just to avoid a possible detention.
The representative of the Moscow headquarters of the Investigative Committee, Yulia Ivanova, said that Sergei Fomin had dodged the investigators. She noted that, based on open information sources, Fomin, leaving the rally, picked up a stranger’s young child in his arms in order to freely pass the cordon.
The search for Fomin was entrusted to the Moscow and sub-Moscow Regional Directorates of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
To date, 9 people have been detained in relation to the July 27th riot case.
In the center of Moscow on July 27 an unauthorized rally was held in support of unregistered candidates to the Moscow City Duma, the elections will be held on September 8. As a result of the event, over a thousand people were detained.
As a result of the demonstration, a criminal case was initiated on the organization, participation and calls for riots. Violence against law enforcement officials is also being investigated.
The Russian “liberal opposition” keeps proving itself, one calls for abductions and shooting of snuff films with police officers’ children, while another actually takes another person’s child to avoid being arrested.
Sergei Fomin is one of the organizers of the rallies, and a recently released video shows how “spontaneous” the unauthorized protest was on July 27th. In the video, the employee of the campaign headquarters of the ex-candidate Lyubov Sobol “proved himself.”
Not only that, Sergey Fomin incredibly professionally directs the actions of the crowd – shouting or giving a speech at the right moment, fervently bouncing, frankly conducting a sort of instruction.

The Investigative Committee became interested in Sergey Fomin – earlier the man appeared in the case of illegal protests as a witness. But the Investigative Committee changed the status of the coordinator from a witness to a suspect.
Another introduction is in order, of another member of the “liberal opposition,” who following the July 27th protests was arrested with:
- A gas mask;
- Pepper spray;
- A knife;
- A hammer;
- And for some reason a document showing ownership of a crossbow, as well as a specification for it, among other things.
On July 27th and the subsequent Saturday – August 3rd, candidates for the Moscow Duma that were not allowed to participate in the elections due to gross violations of the election code took to the streets in two unauthorized protests.
MSM used the chance to accuse the Russian “tyrannical regime” of disrespecting human rights and the police of showing brutality towards protesters.
In total approximately 1,600 people were arrested during the protests – about 1,000 on July 27th and 600 on August 3rd. The attendance at both protests was respectively – about 3,500 on July 27th and approximately 1,500 on August 3rd.
For a city the size of Moscow it is simply absurd to call it a large-scale protest.
And despite being “tyrannical” the Moscow City Council actually issued permits for protests on August 10th and 11th if the “liberal opposition” decided to take to the streets once more.
