On the night of October 22, Russian forces launched another wave of strikes on the Ukrainian military facilities. One of the targets hit by Russian missiles was the warehouse of the largest Ukrainian private postal and courier company in the Kharkiv region.
Footage from the region confirmed that Russian strikes destroyed the warehouses of Nova Poshta company in the village of Korotych located on the outskirts of the city of Kharkiv.
Kiev traditionally attempted to blame the Russian military for another attack on a civilian facility. According to Zelensky, 6 civilians were killed and 16 others were wounded in the facility as a result of the strike. However, footage from the spot shared by the media did not confirm any civilian casualties.
The Russian military unlikely wasted its powerful high-precision missiles in an attempt to destroy Halloween parcels of some Ukrainians to their relatives in the frontline city.
Novaya Pochta has been largely used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Security Forces since 2014 to transport military cargo and stolen goods to and from Donbass. Numerous evidences confirmed that trucks of this company are carrying military equipment, including armored vehicles from NATO counties.
The video shows the transportation of British armored vehicles Spartan on trucks of Nova Poshta. The company’s logo is seen on the side of one of the trucks, inside which there are Western armored vehicles:
Warehouses of the company are also used to store weapons and ammunition supplied by Kiev’s western patrons. For example, on September 22, Ukrainian officials claimed that another Russian strike hit the civilian post office belonging to Nova Poshta. They accompanied their claims with photos showing a NATO ammo box in the left corner :
Since the Ukrainian military is trying to hide the Western military supplies in civilian post offices, they become legitimate targets or Russian strikes.
In recent days, Russian forces launched a series of precision strikes on Ukrainian logistic facilities near the Kupyansk frontlines, where the Ukrainian military is currently retreating under pressure from the Russian army. A couple days ago, Russian missiles struck the area near the railway station of the town Kupyansk-Uzlovoy used by Ukrainian forces for military supplies to the frontlines.
