Slovakian issue Aktuality has taken an interview from Czech-Slovak unit fighting in Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Armed Forces. Czech and Slovak volunteers service in DPR unit ‘Pyatnashka’.
There are 8 foreign volunteers in the unit: 4 Slovak and 4 Czech warriors.
Slovak volunteer with call sign ‘Soika’ has the highest rank in the unit – senior lieutenant.
“We want to establish own unit, based on the traditions of Czecho-Slovak legions. We percieve EU as dictatorship and NATO as agressive block. It’s our form of combating against them,” said, one of the volunteers.
