The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Syria accused foreign powers of facilitating the chemical attack on the city of Aleppo by supplying radical militants in Syria with dangerous chemical materials.
“This terrorist act comes as a result of facilitating terrorists’ access to chemical substances by some states with the aim of using them against the Syrian people and accusing the Syrian Government of that through plays whose scenario had been previously prepared at the black rooms of the intelligence of some states which sponsor terrorism,” the ministry said in a letter sent to the U.N. Secretary-General, the Security Council’s President and the Director-General of the Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).
The chemical attack, which occurred a day earlier, injured 107 civilians, some of them are still in critical condition. Syrian sources said that the attack was carried out with rockets containing chlorine gas.
In the end of its letter, the Syrian MoFA called on the U.N. Security Council to condemn the “terrorist crime” and to hold foreign powers, which supported the militants, accountable for the attack.
“The Syrian Arab Republic’s Government demands the Security Council to immediately and strongly condemn these terrorist crimes and to … take deterrent, immediate and punitive measures against the states and regimes which support and fund terrorism,” said the ministry.
Few months ago, Russia and the Damascus government warned that Western countries had supplied Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the former branch of al-Qaeda in Syria, with chemical weapons, including chlorine gas. However, these warnings were never taken seriously by the international community.

These Washington militants are becoming stronger and stronger. There would be no chemical attack from Washington side in Syria if Damascus, Moscow, Ankara and Tehran have eliminated these Washington terrorists from the whole region of Mideast. Without wasting time burn them all at once and bring peace to the region.

Thank God, at last we get a name, HTS. Does it surprise anybody, not me. Up until now it’s been the Turks mob with CW and using it on themselves, but this time the CW was used to try and blame the Turks mob instead, by attacking the SAA/civilians, FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME.. HTS desperately want to start a war in Idlib before the Turks NFL separate from the south and west, once they’re all alone they’ll be wiped out by the SAA in just a matter of weeks. The war in Syria is nearly over and no one seems to realize yet, I’m even starting to think it won’t even last another 12 months. I’m already starting to celebrate.
Assad is accused of dropping chlorine bombs on rebel areas and there is an international outcry. The Western backed rebels fire missiles loaded with chlorine into government controlled civilian areas of Aleppo and all is quiet on the international and MSM front . . .
