Syria and Iraq have reached a new agreement that will improve security coordination between the two countries against terrorist groups, especially ISIS, the al-Mayadeen TV reported on December 30.
According to the Lebanese TV channel, the agreement will allow both countries to carry out strikes against terrorist targets inside each other’s territory without waiting for permission.
The Iraqi Air Force (IrAF) carried out a series of airstrikes on ISIS positions in eastern Syria over the last few months. The most recent airstrikes, on December 11, targeted two headquarters of the terrorist group in the Syrian part of the Euphrates River Valley. 44 terrorists were killed.
These airstrikes are usually coordinated through the Russian-Iranian-Syrian-Iraqi Information Center in the Baghdad. However, this process takes some time.
The new Syrian-Iraqi agreement comes amid the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Syria. Local observers believe that the two Middle Eastern countries will have more freedom to coordinate against ISIS and other terrorist organizations once American troops are gone.

For all practical reasons, the armed forces of Iran, Syria, Hezbollah and Iraq will operate under one umbrella with more integration. The axis of resistance is truly developing.
If moderate Arab nations can work together, they could rid the region of the twin curses, Israel and Saudi Arabia.
Unfortunately, the term “moderate” was invented by the Zionist scum for their puppet regimes. Only independent Arab countries can unite and expel the Zionist cancer, not the foreign imposed illegitimate regimes of Sauds, Emiratis and Egyptians.
The Egyptians have fought 4 wars with Israel. They’re not puppets. Though the Jews never stop trying to turn them into ones. They wouldn’t have the terrorist problem that they do if they were.
The Egyptians sell gas to Israel for less than it costs to produce. Apart from a couple of slip ups, the US has controlled every Egyptian Government since the British handed over control of Egypt to the US in 1971.

Yes I know how Americans twist everything. The War on Drugs, was actually the war of drugs, the US increased global heroin and cocaine supplies, whilst pretending to be preventing drug use. Cocaine production has skyrocketed in Columbia since the US took over Columbian drug enforcement. And of course the heroin trade has also bloomed with American security patrols.
The war on terror, was actually the war of terror. The US has created so many armies of terrorists, I can’t keep track of them all.
But should we dispose of words simply because the Americans have perverted them?
Unfortunately the term ‘Arab’, also denotes the ‘Arabic’ race, not only the language. As opposed to many Shia who are Aryan( eg.,Iran – Afghani ) even if they do or do not speak Arabic. So for many, the term Arab denotes exactly those regimes within the Saudi Arabian sphere, the Wahhabi Sunnis and the Muslim Brotherhood. Something more neutral might be found.
Iran will be happy about this development, but any remnants of Isis that are hiding out and hoping to take advantage of the US pull out will be very disappointed though.
