The number of Iranian officers killed in the Israeli attack that targeted the Islamic Republic early on October 26 has risen to four.
Iranian state-run media mourned two more officers, Sajjad Mansouri Mehdi Naqavi, with reports indicating that they were air defense operators, just like the first two casualties mourned by the military earlier, Hamzeh Jahandideh and Mohammad Mahdi Shaherkhifar.
The early morning attack on Iran, which was a response to the October 1 large-scale missile strike on Israel, was carried out in several waves over the course of several hours with blasts being reported in the Iranian capital, Tehran, as well as in the provinces of Karaj, Isfahan and Shiraz.
During the attack, Syrian state media reported that Israel struck several military sites in the south and center of the country. Israeli fighter jets were also spotted over Jordan.
Some 100 aircraft of the Israeli Air Force took part in the attack, which the Israeli military dubbed “Days of Repentance.” The first wave of the attack reportedly targeted Iran’s air defense capabilities, while the second hit drone and ballistic missile manufacturing sites, as well as sites used to launch such weapons.
Iran confirmed an Israeli attack had targeted military sites in Tehran and other parts of the country, but said it had caused “limited damage” and that air defense systems had successfully countered much of the attacks.
A fire was reported at a military site to the southwest of Tehran, where a MIM-23 Hawk medium-range air defense system is known to be deployed. Damage was also reported at an alleged drone factory in the town of Shamsabad, to the south of the capital.
In addition, The New York Times reported that an S-300 long-range air defense was targeted at Imam Khomeini International Airport near Tehran, three Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps missile bases and the secretive Parchin military base on the outskirts of the capital were targeted.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry said that the Islamic Republic was obliged to “defend itself” following the deadly Israeli retaliatory attack.
“Iran has the right and the duty to defend itself against foreign acts of aggression,” the ministry said in a statement, citing Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.
It’s worth noting that the Israeli attack drew condemnations from several countries, including close allies of the United States like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

looks like shlomo has earned himself another bitchslapping.
fools. sf avoided the fact that 100 israeli planes used syrian airspace for several hours. and it was under russian “protection”. stop mocking israel, better point at russia. from my point of view, israel performed a first-class military action, far beyond what russia, china or any “brics” country can do. iran was unable to intercept a single israeli plane, and russia sat on its ass and pretended not to be there. next time, israel can do it again, only with the use of nukes. will be very funny.
there’s the kicker. your point of view is that of a kooky jewish supremacist. russia is not going to take israel head-on, as israel is only the most obnoxious of us instruments. the jewish supremacists like to pretend their air force is unstoppable, but it’s been obvious since 1973 when they dropped like flies that they can’t use it strategically. it’s all for show, like 1940’s battleships.
hey, d*ck lapper, russia did indeed inform iran of your incoming shlomo pigeons. sorry, your israel failed miserably…has nutty yoyo by the way come out of his rat hole bunker???
the plane used stand off missiles dip shit, they never got close to iranian air space themselves. being allowed over jordanian airspace to engage in hostilities is complicity, jordan is fucked now.
israel deserves to be mocked. israelis are terrorists.
reformism politics is far better than zionist
you are exactly right, but stupid people refuse to look at the facts. russia is a bitch to the zionsists just like the u.s.
hey clown, 1. you do realize it’s way shorter for israel to fly over jordan and into iraqi airspace to engage iran, right? and we have in fact video evidence of israeli fighter jets over jordan, but nothing over syria. 2. iran air defenses were operated by russian troops, just like thaad is operated by yanks in israel. 3. israeli planes never entered iranian airspace
so what, shoot them down no matter who’s airspace they are in. that is just nonsense.
lol you already promised us nukes during the whole weeks leading to this pathetic show, as well as bringing iran back to the stone age, none of which occurred. but i guess you provide much needed comic relief in those crazy times. thanks for the good laughs. one piece of advice, don´t ask your boss for a payrise.
yep, the use of nukes will be very funny won’t it champ. in fact, it will be hilarious. unfortunately there, what goes around comes around. got any skin in the game perchance ? living in occupied palestine ? i’d say you aren’t so stfu very silly one.
iran is owed 4 dead shlomos plus 40,000 more for gaza. shlomo must pay his debts.
i love reformism
a failed attack! 100 fighter jets and just only an small factory and a hawk site have been hit..we havent seen any explosions and fire in teheran
they also killed 2 sheep that were humping a jew beggar known as volodymir zelensky.
🇮🇱 israel has achieved so many things. it’s now the number 1 🏆 producer of genocide, the number 2 🥈 exporter of lies, and, has the highest war criminal per capita.♥️
let’s not forget this came on the same day hezbollah launched a record number of attacks from south lebanon into israel.
no where to run, no where to hide, we will continue to get you. and there’s nothing you can do about it. we come and find you all one day, and take your child and make them pro zionist and jewish. we will impregnate your little girls, and there’s nothing you can do about it. this is zion!!!, and we are not afraid!!!
be afraid. be very afraid……
no question you folks are into little girls and also little boys. triumph!
also into roasted camel d*ck on a stick.
only very little ones though.
see kids, this is why a hebrew lifestyle of inbreeding and pedophilia is unhealthy, you end up demented, schizophrenic, ugly, and barren, talking smack on southfront to compensate for having no balls…
how many of your crew were so unafraid they fled israel? hundreds of thousands? millions? and this is only the beginning. let’s see how many stick it out.
tell us when it’s greater than the average daily death toll from just civilian life as a corporate slave to the majesties of megalomania
iran is inept and can’t defend shit in their own pants.
it looks like the united snakes was actively involved in this with in flight refuelling tanker aircraft. so uncle sugar has just painted a big fat target on his back.
thats a nobrainer. some flights came from syria, im sure it wasnt assad
gaza residents will inevitably note that both iran and hezbollah are rather less concerned with their genocide. self-interest is inevitable in alliances, yes. but by being relatively passive in the face of the zionist bombing campaign, they allowed much greater civilian death, nor, now, do they have any strategy that would promise a durable peace in the face of a determined aggressor.
why weren’t any israeli planes shot down? did the russians turn off the s300s again?
it’s early days, but it looks like what happened was this. shlomo was intending to carry out an extensive, multi layered series of attacks on iran. first, destroy iranian air defences. then send in wave after wave of aircraft to bomb targets over a period of about 12 hours. this was announced by shlomo himself as the plan. but the attack lasted less than 2 hours before shlomo got cold feet and called it off. it seems they found the air defences much stronger than they expected.
a lot of the missiles against air defences were shot down. they realised the air defences were intact, and the bombing raids would turn into a turkey shoot with a lot of shlomo pilots being shot down. so the whole thing was aborted. a lot of shlomo’s planes were all bombed up with nowhere to go. it looks like iran’s delayed retaliation to shlomo’s earlier antics allowed iran to absorb new russian radars, missiles and electronic warfare equipment. hard cheddar, shlomo.
