Decisive Failure Of US Forces

Decisive Failure Of US Forces

Early on April 14, the US, France and the UK carried out a massive missile strike on Syria justifying their actions with the alleged involvement of the Assad government into the April 7 Douma “chemical attack”.

The Russian Defense Minsitry stated that 103 cruise and air-to-surface missiles were launched on different targets across Syria adding that 71 of them were intercepted by the Syrian Air Defense Forces (SADF).

“According to available information, a total of 103 cruise missiles were fired… The Syrian air defense systems basically comprising Soviet-made weapons successfully repelled the strikes by aircraft and naval ships. A total of 71 missiles were intercepted,” Head of the Russian General Staff’s Main Operations Department Colonel-General Sergei Rudskoi said.

Rudskoi said that the SADF had used its S-125, S-200, Buk, Kvadrat and Osa air defense systems to repel the strike.

The Syrian General Command said that the US, the UK and France had launched 110 missiles also adding that most of them were intercepted.

The numbers provided raise serious questions.

Some experts contacted by SouthFront said that even theoretically the SADF had not been capable to shoot down more than 15-20% of the launched missiles using its S-125, S-200, Buk, Kvadrat and Osa systems only. The SADF just does not have enoguh means and measures to intercept such a number of missiles simultaneously in one striking wave.

So what really happened?

The experts suggested that the Russian military had possibly used its state-of-the-art electronic warfare (EW) systems to counter the launched missiles during their final phase of flight path.

The most part of the flight path, the guidance for the Tomahawk cruise missile is provided by GPS. However, in the final phase, the missile starts using its internal guidance system. During this phase of the flight path the missile is vulnerable for EW counter-measures.

The missiles impacted by EW systems start to steer off. The missiles’ speed significantly reduces and they become an easy target for air defense systems or fall.

Another factor, which “highly likely” contributed to the effectiveness of the Syrian counter-measures, is that Russia had provided the Syrian military with operational data from its technical reconnaissance net, including satellites and other surveillance means. Likely, Iran had done a similar thing. Thus, missiles launched from the Red Sea were detected immediately and were being tracked during all their flight path.

Using tracking data, Russian-made air defense systems are capable of shooting down cruise missiles with a relatively high efficiency.

In any case, the 71 intercepted missiles of 103 launched are a decisive failure for the US and its allies. No doubts, the US military leadership did not expect this scenario.

If the data provided by the Russian Defense Ministry is confirmed, this will be the first time in the history when some side was able to repel a massive strike of the so-called modern high-precision weapons/missiles. So, in a case of a nuclear exchange between the US and Russia, the Russians will be able to intercept most of the US attacking means suffering a minor damage. Russia’s nuclear strike would be a crushing blow.

So far [13:15 CET], the US has provided no comments on reports about the 71 downed missiles and has not even provided official info about the targets and weapons involved in its strike on Syria. Considering that the administration of US President Donald Trump likes “PR moves”, such a stance may be described as an idication that something “went wrong”.

UPDATE: The Pentagon provided own version of events by saying that all the missiles “successfully hit every target”.

UPDATE 2: On April 15, former head of the Armaments Department of the Russian Defense Ministry Colonel General Anatoliy Sitnov supported this EW warfare impact version in own remarsk to the Russian TV channel Tsargrad.

UPDATE 3: Reports appear that the US military is about to launch an internal probe into the issue. MORE DETAILS

S-300 to Syria and Lebanon!

Barba_Papa

For Lebanon alone this would be a game changer. No more using Lebanese air space as its personal air space for Israel.

Which is why I think the moment the first launcher gets unloaded in Lebanon, the very next second it will be targeted by the IDF.

TheLulzWarrior

Or simply warn Syria that Israeli jets are on the way, fire the missiles when they can no longer avoid entering Lebanese airspace.

Sinbad2

Better still, how about Russia sells its jamming technology, it’s a trillion dollar anti weapon.

as

State of the arts weapon can’t be handed over to foreign party including allies. They can make an export version however.

Bob

Best not let that technology stray far from home – it is the game-changer and an unknown variable that has US guessing.

Rob

Now Syrian army and their allies should ready to use 1000 kg smart bombs and burn all bastards on the Syrian land and gift them to cannibals Trump, May and Macron. I surprise that how these foreign bastards using Syrian land and Assad and Putin are waiting them.

Rob

Trump have replaced UNSC with US.

HighLord Gaz

In his (maniacal) dreams…

Starlight

Lebanon would never use it, sadly- for Lebanon has to live with the consequences of having the jewish monsters on its doorstep- like living next door to the very Devil himself.

Anyhoo last night saw decisive DEFEAT for Mattis and decisive VICTORY for Bolton. From now on this is Bolton’s game- and this fact should have everyone here very unhappy indeed.

bonami

I disagree, this attack was a stunning failure. Mattis was correct to urge caution, instead Trump on Bolton’s urging rushed in and has three empty buildings to show for his “new, smart” weapons. He also has a flotilla on its way, again at Bolton’s urging I suspect, will Trump now turn it back, park it somewhere, or shoot off 1000 missiles and get the same results? Trump’s admin is known for its high turnover, I don’t know if Bolton will last.

888mladen .

Do your maths! What’s 70% of 1000? 700 correct? What about the rest of 300? According to RU MoD SY has 40 Panzirs S that carry 6 anti air missiles which makes total of 240 loaded missiles. Only 70% of them will hit their targets which makes 167 hits per load. Two loads would yield 334 hits however there is downtime for reloading during which missiles fly to their respective targets unchecked. In order to destroy whole lot of 1000 fired cruise missiles 40 SY air defense Panzir S systems would need 6 loads of missiles since 167 x 6 = 1008 hits. Is RU able to supply that many missiles and at what cost? I’m not disputing quality of RU military hardware. Who wins is just a game of numbers and America has money printing machine and RU doesn’t. However we haven’t included the rate of fire in the calculation which would give us time interval during which FUKUS would be able to fire a whole lot of 1000 missiles.

bonami

Your are absolutely right, but I never assumed Syria or Russia(and probably Iran) would limit itself to the 40 Panzirs if the US attacked in force with 1000 or more exactly 1500 missiles which is the actual total they had at their disposal.

Russian and Syrian planes, subs, Russian ships would all enter the mix as was shown by the Russian planes in air just before the shelling stopped.

Some info from another’s post is helpful to consider: Assuming “they used 100 Tomahawks missiles. It amounts approximately to the: Equivalent of the amount used in the entire Libya War 2011. ⅓ of what they used in entire Gulf War 1991. ⅛ of what they used in entire Iraq invasion 2003. Twice the amount used in the entire Afghanistan war 2001- I believe they will be back and in force, I believe they can’t accept that they could be beaten as would be the end of their reign of terror if they did. I hope to be wrong.

Anna Diaz

Salut! )) Do you want to find a girl for one night? Come on in http://shorl.com/kugrenistereho

ooooooooooo

John Wallace

Are you sure they are girls , they seem to have an appendage girls don’t normally have.. Save your eyes from the horror of this site..

Fayez Chergui

Why S300? Nuclear armements.

maxii priestt

amen!

HighLord Gaz

No need, simply prepare sites for mobile radars to perch in the mountains and direct long range SAMs as needed. Make sure to protect the sites with plenty of SHORADS however…

Ma_Laoshi

The Vietcong beat Uncle Sam without S-300. The Taliban beat Uncle Sam without S-300. It’s about who WILL fight and who won’t.

MADE MAKER

GOD IS NOT WITH USA

Gregory Gregory

He’s actively against them

NeoLeo

Lucifer is with them. United Satanic Antichrists.

Sigismund Tunichtgut Kösel

The bringer of light. Murica even put a statue of him on “Liberty Island”. It’s the idol they worship. They have to because the devil is the only one who can make you temporarily ruler of the world, when you bend your knee before him, as it is written down in the story of the temptation of Jesus. But after a while you’ll lose everything. Each empire became history sooner or later. The Satanic States Of America will follow soon.

Mike

And who will replace the USA???

China??

The USA might fall 150 years later maybe

maxii priestt

definitely correct! the devil worshipping satanists! God can’t dwell in such evil

Redadmiral

Goliath has not been slain just mortally wounded. Yanki Zionist Scum now know they are there for the taking if they decide to up the ante.

Mo Richard

“Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and ‘smart!,'” was that it?

Redadmiral

In a World cup final the equivalent might be the best of USA, England and France 3 against the Levant No hopers; Syria 7

Sinbad2

Exactly, they thought that they had fixed the vulnerability, but it seems it’s back to the drawing board for the axis powers. I would like to know which type of missile did make it through?

FlorianGeyer

The new ‘Smart Trump’ version I think. Its full of American cutting edge electronics developed in conjunction with the F35 programme I understand :)

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Surprised they launched strikes from At Tanf base towards Damascus destroying the University and all Air port were intercepted. Won’t look good as it is a hostile attack on the local government within it’s borders good opportunity to demand the expulsion of US forces in that region.

FlorianGeyer

Yes indeed it will I am sure.

goingbrokes

I beg to disagree. The ones that got “through” were the control group of “dumb” missiles, without significant electronics. And they got “through” because the radar revealed that their in-flight profile indicated that they were not smart, and were never going to hit anything significant. No need for interception as they travelled towards their intended pile of sand.

maxii priestt

you got that totally right the first time

bonami

Thank you, very interesting, that means that the hit ratio is even higher, wow.

Tudor Miron

It wasn’t specific type but it was target dependant – where there was nothing to defend there they had some success – abandoned installations near Barza and Jaramani.

bonami

Perhaps both?

Tudor Miron

Possibly

Ewan

They might have been new and nice, but they certainly weren’t very smart

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Yet here it was Syria who defended against these missiles while Russia never had to fire any missiles. Nice to see that Syria is getting better with Radar jamming and missile interception, hopefully new S300s are on the way.

Gregory Gregory

All they’ve achieved is showing the world that they don’t have what it takes.

Tudor Miron

They showed the world that Syria is able to defend itself effectively against massive NATO airstrike.

Oscar Silva Martinez

…..and with modest old equipment which is causing a lot crying and butt hurting in The U.S. military and political leadership.

AJ

I would hardly call a strike of 100 plus missiles that lasted 1 hour massive – this was just a pin prick deterrent at best that will not change a thing on the ground.

bonami

If it was a test of defenses prior to the US flotilla’s arrival they now know that they have a serious problem. For they would need to fire all 1000 missiles to overwhelm Syrian defenses and would definitely hit a Russian at which point they would be toast. Interesting problem, what to do with the flotilla now?

Petrus Levelleri

Hahahahahahahah…. Dumb Tomahawks from dumb AngloZios… Had a good laugh today. Thank you US, France, Israel, UK clowns.

Wolfgang Wolf

is not the first time that missiles are intercepted with such high percentage. happened last year already at the airbase in Syria, and happens all the time with missiles from naZIOnist Jewsrael….

Attrition47

Piss off antisemite dickhead, therre’s nothing Jewish about zionism.

Wolfgang Wolf

i dont care what you say) go and pray in your mosque)

@Inc2Get

I agree! People keep confusing judaism with Zionism even though the zionists doesn’t care about jews. They control more than 2/3s of the world wealth yet Israel isn’t wealthy and many are poor. When it comes to war, religion has no face.

gustavo

There is not confusion, only few people are confused. I know some jew are even against Zionism. However, they all support what Israel is doing and give money for the construction of the Great Israel.

FlorianGeyer

Except that Zionism supports the rape and pillage of most jews.

jerry hamilton

And in spite of that, most jews still support zionists.

Sigismund Tunichtgut Kösel

Real jews faithful to the torah reject zionism. Most alleged jews consider themselves to be jews just for ethical reasons, which is a western and therefore imperialistic style of thinking. Exactly as zionism is. Zionism is designed to destroy judaism by infiltration. The same with wahhabism that is set to destroy islam. The same with the roman churches that aim to destroy (original) christianity since 1500 years. Monotheistic religion originally and essentially reject tyranny, imperialism and (human) sacrifice, which are the foundations of empires, that therefore battled monotheism esspecially jews throughout all times.

Attrition47

Decisive my arse, this is the worst kind of propaganda platitude. How many terrorflieger were shot down? None.

Redadmiral

So, let me get this right. Soviet 1960 air defence systems take out 70% of modern Yanki Zionist Billion dollar Tech. Yanks must be shitting themselves. Harry S Truman bringing all the diapers ye will need, hopefully.

Magnus La Magne

In Soviet Russia missile launches you

Tudor Miron

That’s exactly what happened. As much as I would want to give bully a bloody nose, being an adult person I’m glad that we were able to defend effectively even without hitting back. NATO aristrike didn’t do any meaningful damage other than to their own mil. equipment image.

neil barron

Let’s be clear here 1960’s developed systems. These are multiple upgrades that are being used here I’ve read about the systems upgrades these are some of their sales to foreign entities. Even thought they don’t use them. Different toys for different ploys.

Val Shadowhawk

The Russians are not the Soviets. And lets be clear about Russian tech. It is far superior to anything the Neo Bolshevik infested U.S. and its allies (All Lies) have in their possession.

Derapage

If Israhell 1 week ago did hit his target with 3/8 missiles why 71/110 cruise missiles missed the targets last night? This could only happen if the trajectories were already known to Russians and Syrians. IMO

Redadmiral

EW

as

Possible. But cruise missiles do only travel at subsonic speed due to payload it need to carry so it’s not quite strange.

Tudor Miron

Wait a little 3/8 = 0.375 and 32/103 = 0.31 Overall the numbers are very similar.

Ma_Laoshi

Small wonder no author dared attach his name to this denialist drivel. Trump got Putin into his safe space, deserting his loyal ally. Trump got the narrative “Animal Assad gassing his children” to stick, for Putin hasn’t meaningfully contested it. Trump got every country on the globe to see the folly of defying the hegemon. The Dark Throne achieved exactly what it set out to do.

Tudor Miron

The Dark Throne went as far as open agression on sovereign Syria and all the world can clearly see that end results is just… pfff i.e. nothing. All world is able to see that Dark Throne military might is actually ineffective.

Ma_Laoshi

You are a good man but people on your side have become proficient in juggling two completely contradicting messages. One, the above; the other, when somebody kindly suggests that you chase these inconsequential orcs away: “But have you see how MASSIVE the US Navy is, surely you can’t expect us to confront that!” Others have found you out, and if you haven’t caught up on it then you’ve missed the Sun Tzu passage about knowing oneself.

Barba_Papa

Well, we have take into account that the Syrians and Russians are painting a much rosier picture to justify the lack of Russian response. Maybe more missiles hit their target then the Syrians/Russians are willing to admit. After all, what happened to that fabled ‘any attack will be met by a counter attack on the launchers?’ In that sense the Russians have given the Empire and its vassals carte blanche to do this again. Two times, no consequences. In that sense the Empire will look at the Russians as weak.

On the plus side the Tomahawk has now basically become useless as a stand off weapon. Two strikes against an enemy that does possess a good coordinated air defense network and EW jamming and a 2/3 failure rate. Hurry up, America, better pour uncounted billions into the pockets of Lockheed Martin to get yet another overpriced, over budget and over time delivered new missile. That may or may not work. Maybe Saudi Arabia should be ordering Pantsjirs instead of Patriots to defend itself against Houthi missiles.

Also, so much so for Trump’s boast of ‘new and smart’.

Attrition47

Each time I ask “Where are the Russians?” i get a deafening silence.

Barba_Papa

‘The wise man listens as a fool chatters’

The Americans have been making a lot of noise, and for what? Not much to show for militarily. In that sense I’d worry more about an enemy that maintains a deafening silence then one which screams bloody murder. The latter makes a lot of noise, the former may be up to something far more sinister.

Mario Simonelli

They are there clearing and putting in order Syria’s population, in 12 month the usa france and Uk. Will not be able to ask russia: please let us bomb .

@Inc2Get

I don’t know how many times I have to say this! Russia said only if their soldiers are hit will they retaliate. They said if anyone of their forces got hurt, they would retaliate and because of the tensions, Russia sent diverse troops into the SAA to prevent US airstrikes against the troops and that worked. Only material damage occured and 2/3s downed. Major success and Russia didn’t even use their anti defense systems except for the jammer. All of the systems used were Syrian and soviet-made.

Ewan

The US attack was so that Trump didn’t lose face and also divert from the shit happening back home. – a pre-arranged scenario with the Russians being informed ahead of time by the French.

The Latin Mass

No Russians ever said that… liar… like the Russians.

Hrky75

Coordinating the response with their radars and satellites and probably spoofing missile guidance systems . Also they did a hell of a diplomatic job by pressuring US into shooting targets of no military significance while informing the Russians and by extension the Syrians of their targets well in advance. That doesn’t show strength on the part of the Neocons – it’s a clear sign the Empire is disintegrating having to attack other countries (or at least pretending to do so) in order to deflect from internal problems…

FlorianGeyer

Yes, President Putin . Lavrov et al realise that to a vain man or nation , Pride is everything.

Pride does come before a fall but now is not the moment to trip the US up.

I look forward to the day the US falls :)

jerry hamilton

The thing is… Russia could make that happen but they wont. They are not vindictive like our governments are.

Ikpe Essien

a glass of iced coffee for u

FlorianGeyer

Everything Russia has done in the Syrian conflict has been carefully considered and necessarily pragmatic.

Essentially, every action of the US Coalition sees a reaction from Russia that up to now have worked in Syria’s favour.

jerry hamilton

Exactly. Well said.

DaWolf

Look at the map one year ago (Khan Sheikhun false flag) and look at the map now. This is the answer to your question. Fireworks vs. Real results

The Latin Mass

SSA did the heavy lifting. Glory to the SSA. Bye, bye traitor Russians.

FlorianGeyer

Idiot.

jerry hamilton

You are a sick fuck.

Neo Onh

Right and wrong….. Putin said he would retaliate “if russian forces were attacked”, well russian forces were NOT attacked, in fact the USA-nazis did everything to avoid russian forces. Still I think he should have sunk a boat or two…

Barba_Papa

Yeah, that would have been icing on the cake. A cake that might lead to WWIII, but still icing on the cake.

Seriously though, there should be consequences for this kind of behavior. And I hope there will be, or there will be more of it.

Floyd Hazzard

The Russians are like cheap flutes. Lots of noise when it doesn’t matter but silenced when the big shows happen. Deconfliction and appeasement is costing them prestige and loss of international respect.

Tudor Miron

Floydy, expensive hore? What Russia showed to the world is that western military might is easily defended against and that didn’t even require direct involvement of Russian forces.

Mike

The West wasn’t even throwing it’s best rockets and wasnt even attacking with massive air planes fleets and ground troops.

This was not even 5% of the west military power.

Tudor Miron

Ground troops? Even if that was 1% than lets multiply that damage in hundred? :) What than? I’m not saying that west isn’t mighty but it’s advantage is falling apart rapidly.

bonami

And it was 0% of Russia’s power so…?

Hrky75

Most effective consequence would be to start supplying Syria and Iran with new air defenses – and that’s what Russian MoD announced this morning. And icing on the cake would be shipping them Iskanders and Kalibrs so next time they can play some offence too…

TheLulzWarrior

Also, sharing satellite info on israel, have the missiles flying before the Israeli jets even enter Lebanese airspace.

maxii priestt

woooo!.. Iskanders and Kalibers! the americans would vacate the whole middle east!

FlorianGeyer

I would think that the US terror gangs will be feeling tome pain and that includes Deir Ezzor with attacks from the Russian bombers and escorts currently in Iran.

Alpha&Omega

That’s possible and something worth hoping for.

jerry hamilton

Yes. The West do have to learn their place. I am convinced Russia will play it the right way.

Ewan

They Russians abandoned their Serb Allies with far less threats than they have countered to date in Syria. Russia is making a stand, not for Syria, but for its own good.

FlorianGeyer

Russia was not strong enough during the Balkan wars without resorting to nuclear weapons very quickly then.

Today Russia has been born again and NATO is decaying with old age.

Mike

Russia is still a shithole though and a country that exports more prostitutes than anything else

FlorianGeyer

I have been there and its an impressive country . There is no LGBT rubbish on the streets either .

Mike

serbs were comiting serious war crimes and there was no reason to be with them.

Assad on the other hand is the good guy in this case and the people want him… in ex yugoslavia Milosevic was the aggressor.

Please distinguish between the 2 issues, it is very easy

Douglas Houck

So far the stated consequences are: The US/West/UN will not be part of the Syrian peace process and the Russians “might” sell the S-300 system to Syria. In other words, long term effects/issues as opposed to the West’s short term feel good wants.

Alpha&Omega

If the “might” had been a “will” it would have been a consequence worth the strike, but now it’s not. US still has the initiativ and th upper hand. The first is crucial for the outcome in every war, cold or warm.

Douglas Houck

I don’t know. I don’t see that the US has an “upper hand”. I don’t see that the strike resulted in any benefit, strategic or otherwise, to the US/West. Starting tomorrow, Syria continues with it’s efforts to crush the jihadists, (who were very disappointed in the strike), and the US/Israel continue to lose area and influence.

klove and light

the us the upper hand???what r u smoking….this latest attack was the last ditch effort…combined usa, france and british scum….outcome fot the syria war 000000000000 This bs hyped up attack ,if u wanna call it, did 0 to SAA or hezbollah or iranian not to speak of russian forces. The nato assholes(nato stands for Number1AssholeTOday)…could have attacked tartus naval base or the Khmeimim air base..but they chickend out BIG TIME….and the quote from defense secretary mattis hours after the strike says it all ” this was a ONE TIME SHOT”………….thats the same as saying to the russians and their allies…please dont hit our ships, this wont happen again!!! Be sure that SAA and allies will soon cross the eupharates to the east, they have plenty of ground to air systems available and they now also have the experience to properly use them…once the air superiority of the us zionist coaltion is gone….the battle for the east of syria is over in less than a month!!! As far as people r concearned about us and france and britain fighting directly back…they can only win such a battle/war if they go all out…meaning full out war with full out invasion……..NOT IN A LIFETIME…not because the elites of those countriey dont want to…but they simply cant!!!!! A bs hyped up strike(which is illegally anyway) can and was made for the simple reason they can ,if u will, curve around their parlaments, leave their people outside, but that cant happen on a full scale all out war level. the usa congress would never vote for it….the uk parlament either and even less possible the french. Thats the reason why(u folks keep asking that question here on southfront) the russians and the iranians r keeping their “heavy” weapons in the closet….iranian missle forces could wipe out all us bases in syria in 60 minutes….but then risking as mentioned above all out war…when american hawks r calling for revenge and all that bs….the russians could sink those us and french and british war ships 24/hrs a dy, 7 days a week……risking ofcourse all out war..after the public in the above mentioned nations changes when u kill hundreds or thousands of their sons. Russia and Iran have played this out beautifully…….only 1 nation that dont fit any equation…..The zionist entity named israel…..they can always tilt the table

Alpha&Omega

Unfortunately it wasn’t a last ditch effort as we already have seen and will see. Regarding “Russians and the Iranians r keeping their ‘heavy’ weapons in the closet” it may be true for Russia even if the main problem is that they don’t want to open this closet and take them out to protect their allies then needed. Result of that is that in Iran’s case their “closets” and most content have already gone up in flames.

Moscow’s reluctance to deliver S-300, that Syria already ordered and paid for, is what not only cost a lot of lives and immense amounts of weapons and ammunition, it not only open the skies for the enemies of Syria, it even invites Israel to strike since their logic is “better do it before deliveries one day will take place”.

No matter how wrong, illegal and plain evil the enemies of Syria are, they have the upper hand. Cleansing small pockets doesn’t change these facts, since they control big parts of Syria, including most of its oils and fertile soils.

You should neither over- nor underestimate your enemies.

Alpha&Omega

That was added later and not as it first was stated March 13. Russia do indeed look weak and have by shown inaction opened up for more probing strikes until the USS Truman Carrier Strike Group has arrived in around 10 days from now.

FlorianGeyer

There is more to war than waving a big stick and shouting a lot. The US has never learned that lesson.

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

instead of syria evacuating its bases to russian bases, russia should put forces in every saa facility/base/etc to deter any future attack

KILLDisk

Barba_Papa , Please remember Russia openly announced its first priority was to avoid escaltion in the first place and had vocally asked for nations concerned to ‘seriously considered the consquences’…

They did… and thats why France’s President Marcon held phone contact with Putin PRIOR to the airstrikes. Russia in turn fore warned Syria who evacuated various military targets (days ago) hence the lack of both civilian and military casualties.

Considering the cost and limited numbers (S400/S300) of air defence why would Russia retaliate when knowing full well it would achieve little to DESCALATE the situation ?

Ewan

It was a CNN BBC show for domestic consumption – a pre-arranged attack with the Russians knowing exactly what where when and how many were coming. Its all BS theatrical drama. The only thing this proves is the total weakness of the US and her allies to change the game in Syria -its over for anglo-saxon-zionist hegemony in Syria. From now it will be a mop-up operation for Assad. After that, it will be time to tun the screws on the baby killing Fake Jews

Tudor Miron

Wrong, First of all, there was no statements that you give “any attack will be met by a counter attack”. Exact wording was that in case of any attack endangering Russian servicemen will be met by counterattack. What’s important is that Syria was able to defend very effectively showing the world that western military might is not that mighty.

jerry hamilton

No but their mouth sure is.

jerry hamilton

If the Russians were not being honest in their reporting. They would have said something like “Thousands of innocent civilians have been slaughtered in the attack”.

Alpha&Omega

It’s a lot of truth in that. If it had been the other way around the White helmets “heroes” would be spreading badly made fake pics and vids and Western MSM would have gone ballistic about a Russian bombing holocaust, with a small h of course ;-)

FlorianGeyer

I have a feeling that a large tunnel blown up in Ghouta by the US terror gang in Douma about a week before they surrendered , will contain the bodies of the 3000 missing prisoners held by the terrorists.

IF that is realistic , the Western Media will not be able to conceal that.

jerry hamilton

Good point.

FlorianGeyer

You might have seen this Jerry.

Not on that site but yes. It’s all over the internet. Our government are the biggest tw4ts we have ever had. I never thought it could get worse than Blair. It has. Thanks for the thought.

FlorianGeyer

What verbal gymnastics will Theresa May display to the world on Monday?

Words and remits are very important as they can be used to limit ant investigation. For instance, a paedophile enquiry into ‘ Sexual abuse of children within a Children’s Home ‘ was not allowed to consider evidence of the abuse of the children who were taken outside of the Children’s Home property and abused in cars and hotels etc.

The OPCW statement that said that they ‘agreed with the findings of Porton Down ‘ is disingenuous as the OPCW remit was to ascertain the chemical composition and nothing more ‘ but the statement of Portown Down went beyond that.

The OPCW report from the Swiss lab actually states that the components of BZ were found which suggests Porton Down also found it as the OPCW agreed with the findings of Porton Down.

Again, I dont know what people think sometimes, willfully blind, colective dementia, perhaps.

The west bitch slapped Russia/Putin, period. The gas drivel saga is totaly irrelevant, its an side show, and the Bitih freak show is just that, but they are an part of it, to create pretext for whatever they want and they got it, this time again, as many times before, the propaganda variates, the end game not. And like before, the Russians is way behind, and makes them self be humiliated, and now, irelevant. I read nonsense all the time as we speak, shooting down missiles, I see that as irrelevant, because is changes nothing, and to talk, in UN, in an envirioment run by scums, is, uh……. dunak dunak. Means nothing, just talk and Russia lost this round to, period preocupyed with nosnese..

And by some miracle, hallelujah, the imperial banana republic is going to do what, go home, anyone, are you tripping, the MSM is already barking at Iran, and when Russians have shown no spine what so ever, I fear the Iranians will be alone, Iraq is an whore house, packed with greedy rats, and is out of everything, other than sucking up to the Yankikes, as the rest will do from now on. Yemen, yeah, Russia farted and sold S400 to the Saudi-barbarians, like their crawingl in front of the tribe, the next war will be about Iran (5 years and they to will be gone), since they have what they need, an pussyfyed Russia wimping along, yapping something about respecting int. laws, when UssA have ignroed them since they where created, they have condcted over 250 wars, killed millions, and somehow they have become, what, good. huh The full spectrum dominance never stops, this show have been ongoing for eons, and eventually they get what they want, and balkanized world, and chaos, but above all, wars, and plundering resoucess. This was as far i can judge, and start to more propaganda, because it works, where next, Syria will have to fight for years, because UssA will never let go of Syria once inside, Turks are already celibrating, Erdogan have balls Putin can only dream of and they know it, that is an fact. Beaten to pulp by an Turk, yeah, speaks for it self.

Putin and Russia will bleed, more sacntions, more of everything, that will only escalate, and then what,, do some Judo, yeah, no wounder they are good at it, since they have no spine left. It gives me no plesure to write this, but if not something exstraordinary happens the next week, Russia lost completely. And Mother Russia is as most others, killed from within. Up like an lion, down as an wimp. The real problem with Slavic people. I dont even bother to read what they say, in where ever, because this, was what everything is about, and Russia blinked, and will eventually flee with their tails between their legs. That is the truth, the rest is just show. Yeah, Russia, trust, do you know the meaning of that word, at all.

Starlight through another prism………..

zman

I like that!…and you’re likely right.

Tudor Miron

“The west bitch slapped Russia/Putin, period.” West bitch tried to slap but the slap was easily defended WITHOUT even having to use Russian AD assets. Old Soviet (SAA) systems were enough to effectively defend against massive attack.

FlorianGeyer

I agree Tudor and the fact that the Zionist trolls are all out of their playpen and posting here today speaks volumes. The order was sent out, Get the kids out of bed and pass them the ‘i pads.’

If Syria , Iran, Lebanon are provided with S300’s ( more of them in Iran) that will infuriate Israel a lot more that a token US Coalition plane being shot down.

This is the strategy of President Putin and the clowns in the US Military are too blinded with hubris to see it. :)

Tudor Miron

Actually clowns in the US Military are very worried now after seeing that their strike didn’t give any meaningful results and their missiles were easily intercepted by ancient AD hardware.

zman

Yes, like I commented before this, all the US and the west would end up doing is the same thing they did last time…show the world how ineffective their weapon systems are. Well, they’ve gone and done it…too bad this will not be admitted on MSM, again. This is not good PR for weapons sales. Although Russia did not use AD systems, I would bet my last dollar they used their very effective EW, which I think is the same thing that happened in the first strike in 2017. Along with the Houthis showing that their home made systems can even get past Patriot defense sometimes, Russia can expect some new military clients. How ‘smart’ was that Buffoon? As for trolls, yesterday I counted at least 7 trolls here co-ordinating comments and up-clicking each other (not to mention themselves) and knew it meant that the west was going to attack…it was the same last year. It’s their version of a ‘full court press’. FAIL.

Tudor Miron

Agree.

Neo Onh

Ha, ha, ha, or in russian, xa, xa, xa !

D-Ma Ayak

Wonder how much it costs to purchase EW system from Russia? I need it to begin my rebel movement somewhere here in the world.

Neo Onh

Right and wrong….. Putin said he would retaliate “if russian forces were attacked”, well russian forces were NOT attacked, in fact the USA-nazis did everything to avoid russian forces. Still I think he should have sunk a boat or two… Did anyone “win” this event?…..maybe the missile-makers…

Ivan Freely

Winners: Investors in Raytheon.

Barba_Papa

Who make the Patriot? Which is not showing that much of an impressive performance in Saudi Arabia? I think not. And if they make the Tomahawk too then most certainly not.

Ivan Freely

Not every product made by one vendor would be successful.

Not sure about Saudi Arabia as I have yet to see any videos of successful inceptions and attacks by the Houthis. Videos of missile launches are not valid evidence.

Barba_Papa

Well, the Russian missile makers did. They can now boast better success rates then the guys who make the Patriot. And methinks stocks of whoever makes the Tomahawk should plummet. A 2/3rds failure rate is not good advertising.

Ivan Freely

There needs to be clear videos of successful interceptions. Otherwise, it’s all propaganda.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

The Syrians aren’t boasting about knocking out 70% of the missiles, they say it’s about 30%, though that may change hopefully. Bend over-Putin told us yesterday he would respond to any attacks with retaliatory strikes against the launch vessels or craft. Now he says 70% of them were shot down and expects us to believe it.

@Inc2Get

No, 70% were not shot down. 30 of them were disabled using Russian jammers. Russia did not use it’s anti systems against the missile strike. The Syrian air defense hit 30 targets.

Tudor Miron

You are a liar. Putin didn’t tell you anything yesterday. RuMOD said clearly (and it wasnt yesterday) that they will retaliate if Russian servicemen areendangered.

Rudskoy gives detailed report of how many and which kind of missiles were used against each target and how many were intersepted. https://youtu.be/-FW6MRYztvI start watching at 52.00

Ma_Laoshi

The Pentagram kindly requests that you say this one more time, but more loudly: “We won’t stand up for the Syrians”. It’s *exactly* the message they want the world to hear.

Tudor Miron

Instead we sent the message that to repel a massive high tech (US) attack, ansient CCCP era weapons are enough and Syrians “with a little help from their friends” can do that on their own while without Russians showing their hand :)

Willing Conscience (The Truths

I’m not a liar you moron, and I’m not the only one that’s seen the press release where he stated he would retaliate against any offending launchers if his Ally was attacked again, I didn’t hear him say “only if Russian servicemen are endangered”, it’s all the media could talk about for 2 days. Just by firing 100+ missiles into Syria the US was endangering Russian servicemen, what country in the world would allow it if their soldiers were there, oh sorry Putin would. Even Pakistan and Afghanistan demanded an end to US cruise missile and drone strikes in their countries because they were killing too many innocent civilians, the US listened to them but not Putin.

Law Se

O I am impressed you shot first and the best part is not the missile strike it was the pathetic attempt to bribe Russia you made you indelible jackass moments before your missiles tried to hit targets in Syria.. Now what you going to try and hit them again? You lost your shooting war everyone is laughing at you…No taunts this morning..Russia made an ass out of the great US of asses..

Leonardo Facchin

As interesting as this is, it’s mostly speculation at this point. We don’t even know if it’s actually true that 71 missiles out of 103 were intercepted. And while it’s tempting to cheer for the effectiveness of the integrated Syrian-Russian air defense, we should still remember that the attack was mostly a symbolic one. If the US really wanted to hurt Syria, they could have unleashed a massive barrage that would have overwhelmed the anti-air assets.

Still, it’s pretty good to know that little damage was done to Syria and its people.

@Inc2Get

At least 40 of them were confirmed with video evidence by journalists.

Ivan Freely

That US carrier group has yet to arrive. So, more pain is coming.

AJ

They said this was a one off strike but would anyone believe that!

jerry hamilton

Do you have instances of modern Russia telling lies? We all know the west are compulsive with lies.

Tudor Miron

What is good to know is that while US/UK did try to hit valuable targets it was easily defended.

Java Ape Timelord

It does make you wonder how good USA intel is! After all it is not the first time USA has targeted the wrong site.

Tudor Miron

At list they didn’t hit a funeral or wedding this time.

Douglas Houck

I also found it interesting that Syria’s air defense radar system was not attacked first. Obviously, the attack was symbolic. Still, as nobody has shown destruction supporting all 103 missiles hit their targets, it does appear impressive what the Syrians/Russians did.
