On December 15, a shocking incident took place in the village of Krynki in the Transcarpathian region of Ukraine. A local deputy launched several grenades during a meeting of the village council.
The grenades were detonated by deputy Sergei Batrin from the Zelensky’s Servant of the People party. According to preliminary reports, he was killed and 26 others were wounded.
According to local reports, the deputies disputed over the budget for 2024. Sergey Batrin argued with other participants of the meeting over the budget for next year. At some point, he left the room and came back with grenades.
This is the result of uncontrolled access of the civilian population to various types of weapons. Today, grenades can be easily bought on the black market in Ukraine for about five dollars. Some Ukrainian officials like to give them for birthdays. LINK

i just loved how they all stood there and allowed him to stand there with grenades in his hand and to even pull the pin and throw it. and they just sat calmly in their seats i guess hoping the grenades wouldn’t really explode.
there wasn’t enough “pork” for all the thieving local politicians, so cuts had to be made.

well: even in ordinary military usage they both need about 100 bombs and grenades (or about 1 ton of explosives) for just one wounded or killed in action. extremely ineffective.

this reminds me of the criminal wild 1990s right after the soviet union collapsed this type of wild shiz was the norm back then and ukraine made sure to keep old traditions alive 🙄
isn’t krynki the hard fought strip on the banks of the dnepr? mostly held by russians, but partly occupied since a few weeks by ukrainians? daily bombed? how the heck is it possible at all to hold civil council in that village at all? or is that video from a year ago? it’s extremely confusing.
there are several krynki villages in ukraine. this one is in the zakarpattia region (transcarpathia) which borders hungary. in general there are many villages in ukraine that have the same name in different regions and sometimes even ones with the same name in the same region.
meanwhile in “democratic” ukraine just a random dispute broke out…

totally crazy. no one seemed shocked, no one came to help. a lady came back coolly, took a bottle of water and left the room. they are all crazy.
