Desperate To Defeat Houthis, Saudi-led Coalition Announces ‘No-Drive Zone’ In Yemen’s Ma’rib, Shabwah & Al-Bayda

In a new attempt to pressure the Houthis (Ansar Allah), the Saudi-led coalition announced on January 15 that it will impose a no-drive zone on a network of key roads linking the Yemeni provinces of Shabwah, Ma’rib and al-Bayda.

“The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition asks the honorable Yemeni citizens and travelers not to use the roads linking the provinces of Ma’rib and al-Bayda with the districts of Harib [in Ma’rib], Ain, Bayhan and Usaylan [in Shabwah] starting from three in the afternoon (15:00) of Saturday, January 15, 2022 AD, until further notice,” Col. Turki Al-Maliki, a spokesman for the coalition, said in an official statement.

The spokesman warned that coalition warplanes will target any movement on the designated roads once the no-drive zone enters into effect.

Coalition proxies, led by the Giants Brigades, have been operating against Houthis forces in Harib, Ain, Bayhan and Usaylan since the beginning of the year.

The Saudi-led coalition intensified its airstrikes on the Houthis in the last few days. Between January 14 and 15, coalition warplanes carried out 33 airstrikes on Ma’rib and 27 others on al-Bayda. According to the coalition’s claims, the airstrikes killed 340 Houthi fighters and destroyed 37 military vehicles of the group.

Despite this, coalition proxies have been struggling to advance. On January 14, the Houthis repelled an attack by the Giants Brigades in Harib and Ain. Coalition sources claim that the district center of Harib is about to be captured by their proxies. However, this is yet to happen.

The Saudi-led coalition’s no-drive zone plan is meant to block the Houthis’ remaining supply lines in Shabwah, Ma’rib and al-Bayda. This plan may work, but only if it was implemented correctly.

“This plan may work, but only if it was implemented correctly.”

There’s the clincher. Saudi Arabia couldn’t pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were on the heel. This is going to lead to all sorts of mishaps and hijinks and friendly fire incidents, not to mention the enormous expense of fuel and munitions that will be required.

Cuckmander Hebrew

Kek my old man worked for ARAMCO and said practically the same thing about them.

He was axed for punching one of their sheikhs in the jaw and he laughs about it to date.

Why not-

-Ansarulla declare honorable citizens of UAE not to use Burj Dubai skycraper?

Cuckmander Hebrew

Why should they? I want all the camel jockeys and kike tourists stuffed into that building and a gigantic missile to fell it.

Would outclass 9/11 by far.
