Despite defeating the Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) continued its attack against Turkish-backed militants and captured the town of Deir Sim’an and its historical citadel in the northwestern Aleppo countryside. The strategic town overlooks the Turkish-occupied area of Afrin.

Turkish-backed militants responded to HTS’ advance by shelled Deir Sim’an and its citadel, according to the Iba’a news network. However, the militants have not made any attempt to recapture the town yet.
A day earlier, HTS imposed control of all the remaining positions of the Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement and the negotiations on the group’s surrender began. HTS’s victory provoked a response from Russia, which struck all the ammo depots of the al-Zenki Movement in order to ensure that the group’s weapons will not reach the hands of radicals.
HTS will likely continue its advance along the Turkish-occupied areas in northern Syria in order to isolate the Turkish-backed militants in the southern Idlib countryside, especially in Maarrat al-Nu’man. After achieving this goal, the radical group may attack and neutralize these militants.

I think Turkey has already made the decision to withdraw its loyal and effective forces from Idlib and let Syria and Russia do the dirty job of cleaning it from those who are not usefull/loyal to Ankara.
But where? This can be also a move of the Turks to get the SAA accupied in Idlib, so the Turks can enter by Northeast Euphrates.

Hey man, I am looking at it this way……. HTS knows what is coming and is attempting gather resources and eliminate potential adversaries, ahead of the upcoming offensive by the SAA and Co.. Russia beat them to the punch on the supplies. Turkey will eventually give the green light and the party will begin on HTS’s head. My take, I wish you well.
These are consequences for Turkey’s unwillingness to clear out the DMZ’s along Idlib’s perimeter. If they had done so, with Russian assistance than HTS would have been weakened considerably and Turkish backed militants could have consolidated their forces.
In my opinion is the best thing which can happen now, let them kill each other, in the end of battle will be only 1 terrorist organisation left alive and will be easier to eliminate, why? Because it won’t be anymore good militants or bad militants conversation, so SAA AND IRAN AND MIGHT POWER RUSSIA, will start the total elimination of this fuck up satanic cult … It will be a happy ending …. not for TERRORISTS???And their Allah’s …?…
