The Pentagon’s statements, which called on Russia not to interfere in the investigation into the chemical weapons attack near Aleppo are absurd, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told reporters on Friday.
The Pentagon spokesman earlier cautioned Moscow “against tampering with another suspected chemical weapons attack site.” “This is an absurd assumption. Unfortunately, it is in line with many other outlandish statements made by our US counterparts,” Zakharova said when asked to comment on that statement.
“Moscow said that the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons should conduct an impartial investigation and analysis of the incident,” the diplomat stressed. “Clearly, our American partners do not follow Russian officials’ statements.”
On November 24, militants operating in the Idlib de-escalation zone bombarded Aleppo’s residential areas using shells containing a poisonous substance, presumably chlorine. According to Syrian doctors, over 70 people were hospitalized after the attack. The SANA news agency reported that 107 civilians had been taken to hospitals.
I don’t care any more for the UN then anyone else but in this they are the source closest to impartial. To be fair, Russia thinks that the UN is more likely to tamper with the evidence then their own allies, but they have no idea how suspicious they look by insisting on full control of the situation.

There is NO point in trying to believe that chemical attacks will be dealt with impartially. Syria/Russia are guilty for all Chemical attacks whether they happen or Not.
