On June 8th, the GNA, strongly influenced by Turkey entirely rejected Egypt’s call for a ceasefire, while Cairo began deploying a large number of forces, including Abrams battle tanks and combat helicopters along the border and potentially preparing to enter the fray.
Meanwhile, in order to address some propaganda going around in regard to Russian presence in Libya, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that old pieces of equipment in the country were presented as new.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Russian President Vladimir Putin also spoke on the phone regarding Libya. Putin said that he supported the Egypt-proposed ceasefire initiative.

On the ground, the GNA and Turkey are preparing for another push on Sirte, with Ankara moving its electronic warfare system from Tripoli to Misrata, putting Sirte in range.

Finally, a video was released from inside a Pantsir-S1, it is unclear when it was filmed but it is from fighters from Haftar’s forces.
MORE ON THE TOPIC:
Dictator Putschist Haftar’s LNA Salafist Islamists are a joke. Just watch them in the video from the Pantsir-S1.
Egyptian army receiving huge contract for frigates and typhons from italy exactly at this moment in time is no good sign. And unknown group (british special forces?) seizing oil field from Haftar also not good showing full effort by EU ‘elites’ to oust Haftar
