During an interview with The Wall Street Journal, President-elect Donald Trump said that the US should stop to support Syrian ‘moderate’ opposition, as the country has “no idea who these people are.”

The US should stop to try to find and support Syrian ‘moderate’ opposition groups, as in fact, Americans “have no idea who these people are,” President-elect Donald Trump said during an interview with The Wall Street Journal on Friday.
The future US president also noted that the US should focus its efforts in Syria on fighting against terrorists of the Islamic State (IS) group, instead of attempting to oust Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, as well as be on the same wavelength with Russia.
“My attitude was you’re fighting Syria, Syria is fighting ISIS, and you have to get rid of ISIS. Russia is now totally aligned with Syria, and now you have Iran, which is becoming powerful, because of us, is aligned with Syria. … Now we’re backing rebels against Syria, and we have no idea who these people are,” Trump said.
If the US attacks Bashar al-Assad, “we end up fighting Russia, fighting Syria,” the politician concluded.
Hes talking about you Turkey, Saudi, Israel etc. He still has to back Kurds since they are one of the ones along with SAA a chance of defeating ISIS in Syria. Plus they never worked with ISIS unlike FSA/jihadists terror groups.
Trump’s not going to discipline Israel (that would be a little too much to ask considering that a fair proportion of his base is genuinely pro Israel), but i do believe he’s going to put a lid on their wider plan for regional destabilization.

Even if Obama knows who they are, they are not under American control. Trump sees clearly the cognitive malfunction of the Dem. position . Trump and Putin working together just might be able to stop the Wahhabi death cult from destroying our world .
Exactly!!!! Thank God I’m not the only one that see’s this. Assad must remain in power. Only Obama and Clinton wanted to see him go. Russia is fighting everyone single handedly. America is supporting Al Nusra even though they pretend they’re not. The Gulf Arabs are supporting ISIS even though they’re pretending they’re not. Trump and Putin have to get together and wipe all of them out.
George Soros must be imprisoned or sent to Russia or China so he will never be heard of again. This is his doing. He must be STOPPED. The Syrian people have suffered too much for the agenda of Obama and Clinton, both working under the orders of Gulf Tyrants with a lot of petrol dollars to spread around and Soros’s dream of a borderless world. The Syrian war can be ended within a month with Russian and American cooperation. Something that would NEVER have happened with Obama and Clinton pulling the strings.
The Qatar to Turkey pipeline will never be built. Let Russia maintain their monopoly of natural gas until the Arabs learn to play nice. They rarely do that. Maybe let Iran build theirs to the Med and see if they start playing nice. That will really piss off the Arabs. Geopolitical allegiances could change rapidly. We live in interesting times.
