The DPR forces are completing the blockade of Mariupol. Right now, the first tanks of the DPR troops have reportedly passed through the Kalmius river and approached the village of Sartana, a suburb of Mariupol.
The village of Granitnoe was taken under the DPR control. It is one of the largest cities liberated by the DPR army in the Mariupol direction. The Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) deployed there shelled the village of Telmanovo from their positions.

Forces of the LPR managed to take control over the town of Schastie and a number of villages, including Novaya Astrakhan to the north of Severodonetsk. According to some reports fighting broke out near the city of Severodonetsk.
The village of Volnovakha is still surrounded by the DPR, but has not yet been taken. The UAF are trying to attack from the north in order to repel forces of the DPR from the village.
The towns of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk remain under the UAF control. The joint forces are yet to approach the towns. However, missile and air strikes have already been reported in the area.
The DPR and LPR soldiers share photos of military equipment gained on the frontlines from the UAF, including MANPADs supplied by the Western countries.

The UAF continue shelling of the DPR and the LPR territories, targeting residential areas. Dozens of strikes, including with large caliber missiles, were reported in Donetsk and Gorlovka alone. Casualties were reported.
On February 28, the Kievskiy region of the city of Donetsk suffered intense shelling. Dozens of houses were destroyed.
Russian MoD confirmed that all civilians in the settlements that have come under the control of the Russian armed forces continue their ordinary life, civilian facilities are functioning, transport is working. Most city administrations, by agreement with the command of the Russian troops, jointly ensure law and order and maintain peaceful life.
The DPR and LPR also provide assistance to residents in the villages under their control. Volunteers provide support to people, they bring food and basic necessities, provide psychological assistance.

Im pro Russia and Donbas, but with these soft methods it will be very bloody and slow and the longer it takes the more damage will be done to Russia by the crumbling americant empire. Azovisis and Zellerboy in Kiev are using civs as Human shields. Isis tactics basically. The U.S. and Ru could get away in Iraq and Syria with collateral damage but here they cant, and the Kiev junta and CIAisis knows this. The best option would be to take out the junta in Kiev with a salvo of cruise missiles and see what happens after that. Because not using heavy artillery and the airforce inside cities means basically hand to hand combat. Russia cant exploit its biggest advantage which is massive firepower. Its a really hard situation to be in. I hope President Putin and the military leadership will find a good solution because it cant go on like that forever. Slava Rossiya.

Starve a city out? What are you on? Siege warfare is a war crime. That’s how the Nazis killed 2 million people in Leningrad. The war is to fight the Nazis, not to be Nazis.
The Russians will surround the big cities and after 17 days the inhabitants will eat the rats and everything that goes on 4 legs before they start eating the corpses. Those who want peace will be able to pass out of the cities through secure corridors.
Trust the plan. The Russians are very wisely holding back the mainstay of their forces as to not make them juicy targets for Ukrainian artillery (especially MLRS) which has caused most Russian casualties so far.
