Donbass, Kherson And Zaporozhie Voted 'Yes' To Join Russia

Illustrative Image

On September 28th, the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, as well as the authorities of the territories of Kherson and Zaporozhye regions controlled by the Russian military, summed up the results of referenda on joining Russia.

As a result of the voting that took place in the regions on September 23-27, 98.42% citizens of the LPR voted for joining Russia: in the DPR, 99.23% of the population supported the decision to join Russia; in the Kherson region, 87.05% voted ‘Yes’ for independence from Ukraine joining Russia; in the Zaporozhye region, 93.11% voted for creation of independent state and joining Russia.

The Kherson and Zaporozhie region intend to declare their independence within the administrative borders, i.e. including the territories that are currently under control of the Ukrainian military.

The total turnout in the LPR, was 92.6%; in the DPR, 97.51%; in the Kherson region, 76.86%, and in Zaporozhye, in was 85.4%.

Polling stations were opened on the territories of the voting regions and abroad. In 84 Russian regions, there were about 600 polling stations, most of them were located in the south of Russia, as most of the refugees were located there. In total, more than 4 million people have arrived in Russia from Ukraine since February, said Ombudsman Tatiana Moskalkova.

The results of the referenda are not surprising. The war-torn Donbass regions have been suffering the Ukrainian military aggression for more than 8 years. The pro-Ukrainian citizens have already left the territories that came under control of Russian-led forces. At the same time, Kiev has banned its supporters in the lost territories from voting, threatening them with long prison terms and confiscation of property. Thus, the results of the referenda are not questioned.

The Western media attempt to show the locals being forced to vote by Russian soldiers but independent observers confirm that this is a lie. International observers from various countries, including Italy, France, Egypt, Syria, Belarus, were present at the polling stations both in the voting regions and beyond. They confirm that the referenda were held peacefully, without any violations. Soldiers did not interrupt in the voting process but protected civilians at polling stations, as there was a high risk of military provocations from Kiev.

The international observers confirm that Ukraine and various Western countries are putting pressure on them “according to the best democratic traditions”. Many of them have been blacklisted by the EU and cannot return home. In their home countries, they risk being fired and disgruntled Ukrainians threaten them with violence on a daily basis.

Referenda in Donbass and in the liberated territories were held transparently and in compliance with all electoral norms, their progress was observed by more than 100 independent observers from 40 countries, Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations said.

The observer from Germany shares his impressions on referendum procedure:

“The German media are calling this referendum – ‘fake’ referendum. I’m shocked about this,” said Christoph Höretel. Observer from Germany argues that killing and pressing the people, bombing and destroying civilian infrastructure were not the fake of the last 8 years.

Observer stressed that referendum is the opportunity for Donbass people to determine their own future.

“All the procedures are very well regulated <…>, due to security reasons it’s acceptable” conclude Christoph.

Moscow has already declared its readiness to support the results of the referenda and accept the new regions if the people vote for it.

Russian legislation allows a procedure for joining a new entity, i.e. a foreign state or part of it. Admission should be based on an international agreement. Before its signing, the President of Russia notifies the Federal Assembly and the government. After the document is concluded, the President appeals to the Constitutional Court with a request to assess the compliance of the agreement with the Constitution. If the court finds no violations, then the agreement together with the draft federal constitutional law, which defines the name of the new entity, its status, borders, transitional provisions, are sent to the State Duma, and then to the Federation Council. After the adoption of the document by the chambers of Parliament, an amendment is made to Article 65 of the Constitution and the names of new subjects of the Russian Federation are added there.

So far, the date of the signing of the agreement has not been revealed. It is expected to take place in early October. Another suspected date of the signing is September 30. Following the results of the referenda on the accession of the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions to Russia, the authorities planned a demonstration in the center of Moscow, which is scheduled for September 30. Vladimir Putin is expected to take a speech which can be accompanied by the signing of an agreement on joining the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions into Russia.

Some experts suggest that after the new regions become part of the Russian Federation, Moscow will declare war to Ukraine. In his turn, the head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov declared that Moscow will no longer conduct a special military operation, but a counterterrorist one.

“The new status of the liberated territories will put an end to uncertainty. They will become official subjects of the Russian Federation. And in fact, we will no longer conduct a special military operation, but a counter-terrorist operation on our territories. We have fought for our people before. Now we will fight for our land,” Aksenov said.

Remind: there is still no war in Ukraine. The hostilities began years ago when Kiev launched a counterterrorist operation against the pro-Russian population of the Donbass region. In 2022 Russia responded with a special military operation in Ukraine. Any of the warring sides are yet to declare war.

If a fair referendum was held all over Ukraine, most people will vote to join the Russian Federation and leave the corrupt Jew regime of cokehead Zelensky. that has brought nothing but misery to Kievan-Rus.

It’s hilarious that “ukrainian” “nationalists” would have this ridiculous neo-nazi” pretense when they are nothing but (((their))) attack dogs.

Theirs is the side of anti-white policies, mass-immigration, transgender children, vaccine mandates, etc.

FHTEX

While I regret you are disparaging Jews–many of whom have suffered for being leading Truthers, like semi-banned journalists Glenn Greenwald and Seymour Hersch–nevertheless you are spot on about the entire Urkaine. At this point, the people are so desperate they would join Russia and the Eurasian axis in a heartbeat. Western Europe is totally finished, mate!

rex

except Lvov and the other parasites in the west corner of the country

this shows what is current day Ukraine, a country hostage of a nazi nostalgic minority

Putin is a genius

At the same time tens of thousands of people are paying big money to leave Russia.

These are cowards, traitors, corrupted oligarchs – Russia does not need them. -Gute Reise!

Антон

Wish they never return, but they will, because those dumb navalnists have no big money. By the way, they have no call for mobilization, nobody awaits them at front line, because they have no combat experience. The President ordered to recruit such people only. But sheeple run with no reason.

Kiev

I wonder, why I have never seen those cuckolds and soy boys on Ukropizdan side in the Front? They have a lot of them in Ukropizdan. Did they pay off doctors to get papers that they are not fit for military service? When you are on the street in Kiev, it is crawling full of them. None of them have any jobs either.

Антон

There are two main terms: 1. Age before 35 for privates and before 60 for officers. 2. Combat experience or at least serving in army as conscript for 1 year. And you must be healthy enough, this is common term for any serviceman. I guess there are no ex-officers in crowd of runners, so there is nothing to fear, if you are 35 years old. First wave of runners was at spring when nobody spoke about mobilization. Spring and autumn are the season when mentally disordered people suffer exacerbation of the disease. I don’t know how to explain it any other way.

So happy for these people, look at how happy that woman is :)

My take is that Russia will conduct a counter terrorist operation (even if Ukraine is a state actor) than to actually declare all out war

Too much will be at risk and at a cost, with a war time stance.

Interesting that Crimea has been part of Russia since 2014. But attacks on Crimea by Ukraine have gone un-answered by the Kremlin. Over the last 6 months. Now they say they will use Russian force to defend it’s territory. I don’t understand the Russian legal system. But doesn’t the same logic apply? Many countries don’t recognise Crimea as part of Russia. So maybe they have been cautious,/planning this all along? But other nations are not going to recognise these 4 regions either. So perhaps it gives them a better footing on the global/legal stage.

I also dont understand it. The Neonazis even attacked continental Russian cities like “Belgorod” and the response from the RF was too mild in my opinion. So, yes, I feel you.

Donnchadh

Under current Russian law conscripts can only fight on Russian territory once the Ukrainian regions become part of Russia –legally then that allows them to enter the new regions and defend them against the West.

The “war ” is not over you dont expect the USA to stop ? so there is a lot more to come — remember — ” if Russia encounters an existential threat to its existence then All means will be used to defend its territory “

Антон

That’s correct. Now conscripts, mobilized reservists and even police fast response teams from the front lines can be sent to protect rear lines, main troops can concentrate at moving forward. There are much terrorists, police tactic teams will find them better than military, which is better at front lines.

Антон

Yes, yes, several million times yes! Look at peoples faces: almost all are happy. If you see no smile — this is a foreign observer (3rd video), who thinks about returning home to open democratic society with freedom of repressions. At least 1 observer from Germany lost his job, observer from Slovakia was threatened in message with dirty words. The most democratic regime in E.Europe has put their names in death list “Peacekeeper”.

I applaud the courage of the people in those areas. To be threatened with prison because of how one votes is an excellent reason to reject the brutal Ukrainian government.

We have to come to terms here that the USA already said it will not recognize these territories as part of Russia. This means that if USA does not recognize them, they will not really be part of Russia.

This is unfortunate because USA should just let these people join Russia if they want.

It does not matter if the US or the EU do not recognize the new territories. All that matters is that Russia officially makes these territories part of the Russian Federation so the citizens living there can finally be protected. Russia has just gained 108 thousand km of land with most of the rich and sought after black earth of Ukraine along with millions of hard working citizens coupled with extremely battle hardened south and east Ukrainian ethnic Russians. Priceless gains for Russia. You cannot even put a monetary number on the huge gains of the Russian Federation. Now Russia has officially reabsorbed the Sea of Azov and soon the Black Sea as well. Not to mention the gigantic industrial plants in Ukraine, most important of all the 2 biggest semiconductor NEON factories in the world which happen to be located in Mariupol and Odessa. This monumental blunder by the US and NATO to instigate war with Russia has been a catastrophic failure and is an obvious sign of complete desperation of a withering and collapsing empire which is long overdue. Change is needed in the world.

7-even-N-6

This was long overdue congratulations to the new citizens of Russia. Odessa will in the near future break away from Ukraine as well and it won’t even require a military incursion by Russian troops since Odessa is a Russian city. Russia will not invade Odessa at the current moment because then Ukraine will become a landlocked rump state and that would make Russia responsible for import/export of Ukrainian grain and goods which would be an unnecessary logistical and administrative burden on Russia who is in the middle of a military operation. The people of Odessa will eventually vote to become part of the Russian Federation as they know that the new rump state of west Ukraine will be bankrupt after the war. The remaining Ukrainians living in Kiev and north-west Ukraine will be in a terrible financial situation after the US and the EU abandon them which will happen very soon. Kiev will become the new Afghanistan, devoid of industry, crime ridden and in a state of complete disarray.. Since south and east Ukraine will now be part of the Russian Federation, the west Ukrainians have only 2 choices….develop friendly ties with your Russian neighbors to the east and south to have any kind of economic development or flee to western Europe. The latter option of course is the equivalent to economic suicide as the EU is about to implode. Now that south and east Ukraine are part of Russia, if west Ukraine after the war ends decides to carry out any kind of terrorist attacks against the new Russian territories, then by international law Russia can retaliate with vengeance and fury and take over all of Ukraine if it becomes necessary. Hopefully after Zelensky and his regime are kicked out of power, there will be a new Ukrainian government with decency and common sense.

This fake election was not observed and recognized by the International community of free and civilised world. Therefore it cant be recognized before the innocent people in Dumbass has been shown what real freedom and real peace are with a machine gun pointing at their head.

These referendums are nothing but same as Stalin’s era farce elections. Now Ukies have clear goal: liberate all these provinces.

Except for an expression of evil I do not know why the west won’t accept the referendums. The way the referendums are conducted is very much like those in the US that use paper ballots. I know this as I was a US election inspector for 5 years. I see no problem with the referendums and everything seems in order. These regions will soon be part of Russia and the last purge of ukestooges from these regions will commence and be completed. Hopefully then the rest of Ukraine will rise up and purge its capital of the zelensksoros mob of evil and elect a more peace seeking govt. and all hostilities will end.
