At least 31 terrorists of ISIS were killed and more than 50 others were wounded during October as a result of Russian airstrikes on Syria’s central region, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on October 30.
According to the London-based monitoring group, Russia warplanes carried out hundreds of airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in central Syria during October.
Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) warplanes have been very active over central Syria. On October 29 only, 38 Russian airstrikes targeted ISIS cells in the region.
The VKS is not only providing close air support for Syrian government forces in the central region, but also gathering intelligence with reconnaissance aircraft and guarding all key highways with armed helicopters.
Despite sustaining heavy losses as a result of the VKS’ intense airstrikes and the repeated combing operations by government forces, ISIS cells continue to operate in the central region.
The terrorists have been reportedly receiving supplies, including weapons, from US-backed fighters based in the US-occupied area of al-Tanf in southeastern Syria. The US has some 200 troops deployed in a small garrison that was established in the heart of the area in 2016, allegedly to counter ISIS.
If the terrorists in Central Syria are being supplied with weapons and ammunition and food from the south then this should be the place to concentrate on. If the terrorists were deprived of their weapons and ammunition and food they wouldn’t last long.
I have never known a war being fought where the supply lines of the enemy are not attacked, their logistics cross the Jordanian and Iraqi borders, also the Turkish border, all of them should be a target.
You can multiply that with 10. Most the time the bodies are vaporized to dust.
Condolences to the fallen wahabimossad and CIAisis operators. May they rest in pieces…
