Warplanes of the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out on October 30 at least 28 airstrikes on terrorists’ positions in the southern and eastern countryside of the northwestern Syrian governorate of Idlib.
According to the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the airstrikes targeted the towns of Ma`arat al-Nu`man, Kafr Nabl, Ma’aret Hurmah, al-Naqeer, Umm al-Sir, Faqie, Jbala, Sheikh Mustafa, Kars’a, Rakaya Sijneh and Maarzita.
Syrian opposition activists released videos showing some of the Russian airstrikes that targeted Ma’arat al-Nu’man, Kafr Nabl and Rakaya Sijneh.
The results of the Russian airstrikes are still unclear. However, al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies are known to be stationed in the targeted towns.
The Russian Aerospace Forces resumed its operations against the remaining terrorists in Idlib, earlier this month. Pro-government sources believe that the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) will soon resume its ground operations in the region.

There I was in my bunker lookout on the side of a hill sunbathing on this beautiful sunny and quiet day listening to the birds chirping . Your abuse of the word “terrorist” cannot hide the fact that the bombing – just like that of the US – fails to hit armed groups most of the time but kills mosly civilian population.
