The death toll in a recent ISIS attack in the eastern Homs countryside had risen to 21 soldiers and pro-government fighters, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on November 13.
The attack was carried out on November 11. The terrorist group stormed three bases of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the National Defense Forces that are located north of the town of al-Sukhnah.
The attack was launched from the Homs desert, which lays between eastern Homs and western Deir Ezzor. The desert is the main stronghold of ISIS in central Syria. Hundreds of terrorists are taking shelter there.
Prior to the attack, ISIS terrorists targeted a supply truck of the SAA near al-Sukhnah, according to a report released by the Amaq news agency on November 12.
ISIS terrorists are launching attacks from the Homs desert on a regular basis. On November 10, the terrorists abducted then executed a civilian named Mashhur al-Gad’an in the southern Deir Ezzor countryside after accusing him of spying for the Syrian intelligence.

The SAA and its allies are yet to find an effective strategy to counter the growing threat of ISIS in the central region. The terrorist group is rapidly working to expand its influence there.
It’s a shame and you can see Russia’s lack of resolve, lack of technology, military satellites, drones, and of course the United States and Turkey have tied Russia up in Syria, where Russian intelligence services are Iranian. What a shame And now I understand Russian cowardice.
However, Russia was very quick and able to establish ” humanitarian ” observation centers with battle tank support, combat helicopters, and thousands of heavily armed troops in NK. But taking out some ISIS rats in the open desert seems beyond their capabilities. Notice a problem ?

as long as there is still US and Turkish forces in Syria then CIASIS and AL CIAda will continue to reek havoc against SAA.
Hopefully now Iran could export the weapons and drones to Syria officially and could end the ISIS problem soon.
