Forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) have carried out a rocket strike on positions of the Ukrainian Army at the Avdeevka industrial area northwest of the DPR capital of Donetsk.
The DPR military used a locally-made multiple rocket launcher “Cheburashka”. According to pro-DPR sources, the strike destroyed a firing-point repeatedly used by the Ukrainian military to shell positions of the DPR forces north of Donetsk.
On May 21, a mortar shelling from this firing point killed a commander of the DPR battalion “Pyatnashka”, Oleg “Mamay” Mamiev.

The dumb part of the situation is that PUTIN doesn’t need NOW a reignited war in Donbas, because of the SOCCER World-Championship The Donbas-guys olay exactly how USrael wants it. The MOMENT is not good for PUTIN.
World Cup or not, if Kiev miscalculates, they will receive another bad beating. Their troops have no moral. And in this battle, the odds of victory heavily favor the defenders. Maybe the Russian MoD will send back the Chechens that handed the Ukrainian army spectacular defeats.
