DPR, LPR, Kherson And Zaporozhie Regions To Hold Referendum On Joining Russia

Illustrative image

On September 20, the DPR, LPR and the territories of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions that are under Russian control simultaneously announced their decisions to hold referendum on joining Russia.

On September 19, the Public Chamber of the LPR appealed to the head of the region Leonid Pasechnik and the People’s Council (Parliament) with the initiative to immediately hold a referendum on joining Russia. On the same day, the Public Chamber of the Donetsk People’s Republic prepared a similar appeal to the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin and the People’s Council of the Republic.

On September 20, the People’s Council of the LPR appointed a referendum on joining Russia for the period from September 23 to 27, 2022. The same dates were chosen for the referendum in the DPR.

On September, the public movement “We are together with Russia” asked the head of the military-civil administration of the Zaporozhye region, Yevgeny Balitsky, to hold a referendum and join Russia as soon as possible. In response, Balitsky said that the referendum will be held only in the territories controlled by Russia from September 23 to 27. Vladimir Rogov, a member of the military-civil administration of the Zaporozhye region, that the region will declare independence and become part of Russia within the administrative borders.

On September 20, the head of the regional military-civil administration of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, said that he signed a decree on holding a vote following the public request. It will be held at the same time, from September 23 to 27.

The heads of all the four regions sent their appeals to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to accept the republic into Russia as soon as possible following the results of the vote.

In order to secure the population, during the first four days people could vote at the place of their residence and in public places, i.e. outside polling stations. The fifth day will be allocated for those who would like to vote “at the polling station in the usual mode.”

In the DPR, people will answer the question: “Do you support the entry of the DPR into the Russian Federation as a subject of the Russian Federation?”

In the LPR, the question will sound like this: “Are you in favor of the LPR becoming part of the Russian Federation as a subject of the Russian Federation?”

In the Kherson region the question will be: “Are you in favor of the region’s secession from Ukraine, the formation of the Kherson region as an independent state and its entry into the Russian Federation as a subject of the Russian Federation?”

In the Zaporozhye region it reads: “Are you for the withdrawal of the Zaporozhye region from Ukraine, the formation of an independent state by the Zaporozhye region and its entry into the Russian Federation as a subject of the Russian Federation?”

The questions will be written both in Russian and Ukrainian. People could not vote online.

It was reported that observers of the Central Election Commission of Russia (CEC) can take part in holding referendum. The CEC is also responsible for organization of polling stations on the territory of Russia for the referendum of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

Speaker of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin declared that Russia will support the decisions of the people in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhie and Kherson region.

In turn, Kiev has already threatened the people in the lost territories in an attempt to prevent them from declareing their will. It has previously claimed that the referendum would be the basis for Ukraine to withdraw from negotiations on the settlement of the conflict with Russia. In early September, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk said that Ukrainians would face a prison sentence for participating in vote.

“If collaboration is proved, or, for example, participation in a referendum, or inducement to participate in a referendum, then people can get up to 12 years with confiscation,” she said.

Japan has no peace treaty with Russia following WW2, and the US has established that nuking Japan is fully acceptable as part of WW2 actions!

Finally the West Gets what it wants but not as they had hoped for. The Western G7 NATO countries were hoping the mobilization will cause widespread rioting in Russia in which the CIA and Victoria Nulan will step in with her world famous Cookies for Regime change and Color Revolution in Russia. This will not happen. Russia will muster up enough to knock the NATO hounds and their Roaches (Ukraine and Poland) off their high horse. This is a victory for Russia and the free world. The world will no longer live under a demonic entity called the G7 Beast with its prostitute (CIA) flashing wealth and blood globally. Holy Bible Revelations 17

Germany is in the same situation…. And still they threaten and make war against Russia. Third time lucky for die Kraut$.

Southfront resident nigha

Hey, kebab. Sholzy is not Germany. You keep intentionally confusing parazytic politicians with the serfs. Modern parazytic politicians are totally degenerate prostitutes. They hate serfs because they are not submissive enough.

Huh? Nazis? Where?

Braindead Kraut TV just broadcast a live feed in Ukropland with an AFU tank with a swastika painted on its side zipping past behind the kraut journalist.

Elliot Higginzz

An old buddhist symbol. It’s meant to signal that Ukraine is a peace loving nation. The tank probably had a peace sign on its other side.

Jah Reader

“The Peace Sign” AKA Broken cross of St. Peter. Upside down crucifixion, with the arm’s broken, signifying that Christ was not sufficient.

Ukraine was never a country but part of Russia and most of it should be incorporated into the Motherland. The Russians have handed over a captured Himar to their Iranian cousins that have quickly cloned it into a better version and will supply to the Russian military soon. The Shahed 136 Hunter is causing havoc on the hohol assholes, it costs barely $2,000 and is destroying multimillion dollars NATO faggots M-777 and Himars. They are made of fiber glass and can not be detected until they impact on the Uki ass.

Karma is a bitch. And then Commiefornia with the tsunami.

Mutually Assured

A nuclear tsunami hitting the Juan de Fuca or where ever would destroy the West coast. The gulf of Mexico/ North into the US would damage Texan oil refineries. A war move with more economical damage. No nukes plz. MAD?

They must invite international observers to make sure Kiev has no choice but to accept the result.

No Shiptars, US, and Brits, no crimes!

International observes means western supporters, so no! CEC is enough!

Bob

They did that in Crimea but the west remains willfully ignorant. over 30 observers from 130 different nations I believe. The west just scripts it’s own version of events. Remember, “freedom and independence” doesn’t count if the US doesn’t “approve” it

rex

when they say international observers, they mean murican spies that go there to manipulate the votes and try another “Biden”

they will not accept, for example, observers from India, China, Malaysia, Brazil, etc…

so you have it, their talk about democracy, legality, etc… is just hot air

after all, these pigs bombed Serbia into oblivion and stole Kosovo from her

Florian Geyer

NO observers from the UN,US,UK, EU, and their other Israeli vassals should be allowed though, as they are the instigators of this conflict and also the arms suppliers to Ukie land.

Yeah, sure – how about the OSCE? LOL

RealityOfWar

There was always going to me a point when Russia said – accept the reality of the regions leaving Ukraine or it will become escalatory – we have reached that point. After these referenda, all attacks by Ukraine will be on Russia – if the Ukrainians are stupid enough to continue. The doctrines in Russia are clear in that case – Ukraine will come under massive attack!

They are probably better off under Russia than under Ukraine. If the SBU gets in there, it’s going to be a full scale witch hunt. And once they’re done, they will invite CNN to come document The Next Bucha (TM).

Until now China, India and others haven’t recognized Crimea, the DPR and the LPR. A referendum won’t change that. It is just another way for Russia to dodge their own law to send conscripts to war.

Threatening people is TERRORISM. Plain and simple. The right to secession is a basic right to any community and human being. Compulsion in being part of what you do not want is a violation of basic human dignity.

This looks like Russia admitted it can’t defend friendly nations unless they give up sovereignty: a political mistake and a sign of weakness.

Democracy Made in Russia

A big majority of the people have left the “liberated” or “invaded” regions due to the “war” or “Special military operation”. Look at Severonetsk at Mariupol, they are mostly empty cities. How can all those people who had lost their homes, jobs, had to leave will be able to vote? They are the real victims of this stupid and unnecessary conflict!

Those referendums are just a sad and sick joke with zero legitimacy…

I hope dpr and lpr have anti missile systems outside every polling station as Ukraine will try it’s hardest to deter people from voting.

I don’t think that Ukraine has enough prison cells to follow through on their threats. And the leaders of the Ukrainian coup-created government are already making their airline reservations so they won’t be there to enforce anything.
