On March 21, Pro-government tribal fighters and special forces of the Egyptian Armed Forces carried out a raid in North Sinai killing a prominent ISIS field commander.
Seleem Al-Hamydan was a prominent field commander in ISIS’ Wilayat Sinai and has been one of the founders of this branch of the terrorist group.
According to reports, Al-Hamydan was responsible for coordinating and organizing multiple terrorist attacks that led to the deaths and injures of ‘hundreds’ service members and civilians.
