40 terrorists were eliminated in security forces raids in Giza and North Sinai on December 29 morning, the Egyptian Interior Ministry said in a statement. Security forces 30 militants during two early morning raids in Giza. 10 more were killed in El-Arish, the capital of North Sinai province.
The statement revealed that the terrorists were planning a series of attacks on tourist sites, churches and military personnel.
The raids came in a response to an attack on tourist bus, which killed three Vietnamese tourists and an Egyptian tour guide.
