The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) carried out more than 1,380 airstrikes on ISIS cells in central Syria over the last 30 days, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on March 30.
According to the London-based monitoring group, the majority of the VKS airstrikes targeted the Hama-Aleppo-Raqqa triangle.
“SOHR activists documented the death of 57 ISIS members and the injury of 25 others due to over 1,380 Russian airstrikes on their positions in the Syrian desert,” the SOHR’s report reads.
The VKS operations against ISIS are still ongoing. On March 31, Russian warplanes carried out at least 15 airstrikes on the terrorist group’s cells in the Hama-Aleppo-Raqqa triangle.
The Russian aerial attacks are meant to support Syrian government forces, which are carrying out a series of combing operations in different parts of the central region.
In the last three days, 100 Syrian service members were wounded in attacks by ISIS or by explosive devices planted by the terrorist group, according to the SOHR. Most of the injures are moderate.
The situation in central Syria is currently under control. All main roads are open for traffic, gas and oil fields are tightly guarded and urban centers are secured.

1400 air strikes and 57 fatalities and 25 injuries! Russia must have bombed the desert. No mention to any other damages like infrastructure etc.. I would say that the figures are understated.
Figures are ridiculous indeed, but not surprising: so called ” the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights” is not syrian, it’s not an observatory, and have nothing to do with human rights… It’s based in Coventry, officially run by one man (a convicted criminal who fled from Syria 20 years ago), and it’s funded by the British government. Its sole purpose since the begininng of syrian tragedy is to produce endless lies and cheap propaganda for ‘rebels’/terrorists. And the western media uniformely quote SOHR as ‘ultimate authority’. I mean look at this one: “March 31, Russian warplanes carried out at least 15 airstrikes” – 15 airstrikes per day (*intensive activity supposedly), in 30 days = 450. Nowhere near 1.400. Number of terrorist casulties is also grotesquily deflated.
