On December 25, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
14 of the videos show a series of drone attacks that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, including other drones, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days. Among the equipment destroyed were a German-made Leopard 1A5 main battle tank, a Swedish-made CV90 armored combat vehicle, and a Slovakian-made Zuzana 2 self-propelled howitzer.
An additional video shows a recent series of strikes with Geran-type fixed-wing suicide drones that targeted fuel and gas storage facilities supplying Kiev forces in the Chernihiv direction.
The targeted facilities were identified as the gas accumulation station and gas processing plant in the settlement of Hnidyntsi, as well as the petroleum storage facility in the settlement of Pryluky, and the gas accumulation station in the settlement of Ivkivtsi.
Another video shows an attack with a TOS thermobaric rocket launcher on Ukrainian fortifications near the settlement of Vovchanski Khutory in the direction of Khakriv.
One more video from Kharkiv, shows recent airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs on positions of Kiev forces in the settlement of Boguslavka.
In its daily briefing, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “airfield and port infrastructure, production areas of attack drones, energy facilities that support the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine), as well as temporary deployment points of the AFU and foreign mercenaries in 142 areas” over the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that Russian air defenses shot down six guided aerial bombs, one HIMARS projectile, and 472 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 669 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 104,953 drones, 640 air defense systems, 26,717 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,634 multiple rocket launchers, 32,153 artillery pieces, and 49,974 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
